Tallangatta Motor Inn
I didn't actually stay at the Tallangatta Motor Inn, I was across the road at the Tallangatta football/Cricket Oval watching my grandson play Cricket. But the drive to Tallangatta and back to Albury was absolutely sensational. Lake Hume is currently at 99% capacity, the whole countryside is green, an amazing place to visit right now, and of course Tallangatta is a beautiful country Town. The hosts at the Tallangatta Motor Inn are very friendly and welcoming. I can highly recommend.

Clean, tidy and very well priced. Motorcycle parking under the awning right in front of your room. Friendly, helpful owner operators. Walking distance to pubs and cafe's.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms very clean and tidy, Staff made us feel very welcome also very helpful with letting us know whats around the area to do! Great front bar awesome to enjoy a drink after a day out. We will stay again

Clean and comfortable close to town and even though the reception is closed the text messages or phone calls were always pleasant. Would definitely stay there again

Charged $50 per night more than quoted, electric cords hanging down from walls in room, reception office was CLOSED 24 hours a day, but he came outside to meet you if you were seen standing there or rang the office. (If it was a day someone was in the office). However it did have the benefit of walking distance to the main street to buy food. No extra key available if multiple people staying. Doors lock when closed.

I would highly recommend Tallangatta Motor inn , very clean room and had everything I needed. Peaceful next to swimming pool and all amenities.

Rooms are very small and it's very old. There was no kettle or toaster in the room. Got woken around 5am by men going to work.

The owners are wonderful! Rooms are recently refurbished, air is powerful and quite. If you're there in the melting summer heat, the public pool is right across the road and only $5 for adults. Don't judge a book by its cover, the money has been spent where the guests benefit, not on the road side appeal. Great value, wonderful service, will be back!

With no competition in the town this place was over-priced and a bit run down.No wardrobe or cupboards. Good shower.We could hear the guys next door snoring the walls are so thin.

Looks a bit tired on the outside but rooms were clean, comfortable and the hosts obliging in service.
