Technology in Education

I have been fortunate to have individual, fortnightly training sessions spanning one year with Tser-Lin. She focused on developing my use of digital technology for: lessons in the classroom; collaboration with colleagues; as a means of communication with parents; and for the organisation of student work, teaching material and assessment. My experience with Tser Lin has been by far the most worthwhile professional development I have received in my teaching career. Through consultation, Tser Lin is exceptional at identifying where ICT will be beneficial for the environment and then successfully tailors coaching and tuition accordingly. Tser Lin is very knowledgable, engaging and highly recommended.

Tser Lin is very friendly and has great IT knowledge! Tser Lin showed great enthusiasm and helped me incorporate ICT more effectively into my classroom and she showed me several applications and processes to improve student learning.

Over the past few years Tser Lin has been a welcome presence at my school, supporting staff to learn what can be a daunting area of the curriculum. Tser Lin is invaluable in recommending up to date ideas in digital technologies to enrich inquiry and enthuse and educate students.She works directly with students in classrooms so teachers can also be a part of the learning, and she works one on one with staff to drive us forward, but also moving at a pace that suits each individual.

Working with Tser Lin was by far the greatest PD I have had in my time in Education. She is highly knowledgeable, encouraging and engaging facilitator who takes a great interest in tailoring the learning to suit what is happening in the classroom and what the teacher/student needs, not her own agenda. After the initial discussion about our needs, Tser Lin (who is highly organised) would prepared in advance activities and apps with a clear focus on providing useful hands on strategies without being bogged down in professional readings. Through email, Tser Lin also provided ongoing advice and support so that I never felt overwhelmed or alone in my learning journey. Highly recommend!

Tser Lin is a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team member who makes you feel extremely comfortable to ask her lots of questions. She has great ideas for both students and teachers and always thinks outside the box. Working with Tser Lin has given me lots of great knowledge and confidence and I look forward to working with her again soon!

Tser Lin has worked with both the students and staff at our school for a while now. She is very knowledgeable, approachable and patient when teaching new skills, apps, programs and learning activities. She has a great rapport with the students and has become one of the staff. Tser Lin is not only great at what she does but she takes the time to get to know everyone, which is an amazing attribute to have. I would recommend Tser Lin to anyone looking for an IT whiz both for staff professional learning and support and to with students.

In the years I have worked with Tser Lin, she has inspired me with her vast knowledge of digital technology and her astute understanding of the various demands teachers face today. My classroom is now a hub of technology and my students are engaged, enthusiastic and motivated. I found Tser Lin to be approachable, personable and extremely professional. Tser Lin has been an inspiration to our school community. She is creative, responsive and so enthusiastic when it comes to integrating technology into the classroom. She is an asset during planning sessions, where she supplies ideas that help develop an innovative and engaging curriculum. Tser Lin is a listener, very approachable and very much a team player.

Tser Lin has been an incredible asset to our school. Working with our staff, Tser Lin has transformed our learning and teaching and use of technology. She has led parent nights (and been requested to come back again and again!), trained staff, mentored staff and leadership, developed programs to teach staff and students new skills, and helped us to map out our digital technologies curriculum. There is nothing she can't do! She has been invaluable to us.
