Unless your a local, you don’t get served! My husband patiently waited to be served cause it was lunch time & were busy but a local walked in & got served straight away. Had to give them one star to be able to put this review up, but really wanted to give them zero! So we went to the Cornicopia instead & got served straight away.

Beautiful country hotel complete with open fire on entry. Great meals in quiet surroundings. Would highly recommend this place.

A little disappointing as we ordered our meals and one was incorrect meant to be butterfish instead given garfish we said ok we will eat anyway but 1 minute later confronted by bar person who took order saying we ordered garfish! ok no we didn’t but really what happen to customer service! Certainly won’t be returning!

Good food. Prices a bit high. Salad bar very nice. No bread rolls. Friendly staff. Very quiet. We were the only diners in. An update. Tonight we visited. My Chicken Mignon and chips was stone motherless cold. Informed the waitress who did nothing to address the situation. Very disappointing. Have been coming here for years. Will not be coming again. Not because of the cold meal more, the non caring attitude of the staff.

What a surprise. Place looks like not much from the front but when you enter its a huge surprise.The food servings are huge and delicious.They have an awesome front bar, dining, beer garden and pokies area too. The manager was so helpful and even the local patrons were welcoming.

Not only did we wait over an hour for our meals (with a 5mo baby) the food was terrible. I dont think we would have got our meals if we had not asked. The steak was overcooked fatty and dry. The lamb was not as what it was described on the menu. The chicken Mignon was nothing like it should be. For what we paid it was so so disappointing.....avoid having a meal here.

Another excellent classic Hotel in central Wallaroo, very nice friendly staff, has a large dinning room with a mural, has nice cosy gaming room with free coffee, menue is well priced with a good selection, nice front bar with good selection of beer and wine, good parking opposite Town Hall !!!

Looks are deceiving! From the outside this pub doesn't look too inviting. Once you walk through the doors it all changes. There is none of the old stale beer and cigarette smell often found in these old buildings! The ladies behind the bar are most welcoming and very helpful. The restaurant is large, super clean and the food was a high standard with a large self serve salad and vegetable bar. A return visit is definite.

Wow, the best crumb prawns we have had in years done to perfection and a very good-sized meal.The fish was an excellent meal as well. The selection of salads and vegetables was very good. Service was with a smile and friendly staff. We will be back again and will have no hesitation in telling others to dine out here. Very good value for money. Thanks to all the staff.
