FM Olde Piano Removals

FM Olde Piano removals will save your piano and save your life! We used their services the first time several years ago when we moved all our stuff ourselves but needed a pro to move the piano. This time, we thought the interstate moving company would take care of it all, afterall, they'd invoiced us separately for a pro piano move. On the day, a piano mover showed up with the regular movers but everyone had been told there'd be a lift (there wasn't) and then chickened out of carrying the piano down stairs. We called FM Olde and luckily they were able to drop everything else and swing round to save the day, which they did!! Pro job, twice, very careful with the piano, and no job is too hard (we had two flights of stairs with a 180 degree turn midway for a full size 250kg upright). If you're moving a piano in Sydney, don't call anyone else, FM Olde is the only one to trust!

Olde, the only people I have and would ever entrust my beloved piano to on its numerous relocations over many years. Their wisdom, care and professionalism is second to none. A million thank you’s to you both for taking such good care of my precious cargo.

These movers seem to know what they are doing. One issue was that the big guy had the laces on both his shoes completely undone. When I drew attention to it (and the attendant safety issue it presented)the second guy politely requested me not to get involved as “ when customers get stressed we can’t get the job done properly”

We’d been nervous about moving our grand piano for (literally) years. It’s a precious family heirloom, and it needed to make its way from the 13th floor of an inner-city apartment building into a terrace with very wonky entry steps, not well suited to piano moving. WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE SERVICE F.M. OLDE PROVIDED. Peter and Joseph were timely, friendly, and efficient, and they took the greatest possible care with our piano. We’d prepared ourselves in advance to accept a bump or a scratch, thinking it would just be a fact of life, but there was ABSOLUTELY NO NEED — they navigated the entire move with surgical precision. How, with just two men, they managed to achieve this feat is beyond our comprehension. We would VERY MUCH RECOMMEND their services, especially to anyone whose piano is precious to them.

FM Olde recently moved my upright piano from an apartment to a house. This involved getting it down two flights of stairs in an old building with no lift. I was so impressed with the professionalism of the two guys who did the move. They clearly had a great working relationship which meant they were constantly communicating with each other about where the piano was and where it was going. It really felt like it was in safe hands. And the cost was actually cheaper than the quote from the removalist we used for all the other furniture - and FM Olde were definitely better. I recommend them.

I would never use this company again to move our piano as they damaged it during our move. We had to chase them for a response. They denied responsibility, were discourteous and patronising and refused to fix the damage. We were a returning customer but never again.

I was nervous about the difficult access for delivery of my baby grand piano, but the team at FM Olde were fantastic, and got the job done professionally and as smoothly as promised.Super responsive right from the time of my enquiry to approach for delivery, I'd absolutely recommend these guys to anyone planning to move their piano.

Very organised and professional piano removals team. Peter and his team has done a great job moving in our new grand piano. Peter is very considerable and rescheduled our appointment due to the rain. Maria from the office always called one day before the delivery date and Peter calls before his arrival. Very happy and smooth experience. Cann't thank them enough! Have used FM Olde piano removals 3 times now with apartment & townhouse moves with stairs, always very easy to deal with, no matter how difficult the location might be. My piano is more sentimental than an instrument, these guys are true professionals, you never have to worry. Just let them do their job, they do it perfectly. Great communication and very friendly. I wouldn't bother even getting a quote anywhere else, very happy with these guys every time. Thanks again!
