WOOD ROT GALORE. Our casements in bedroom replaced after 8years and they were painted properly! The imported cedar Windows swelled when it rained and then rotted out. Frame on bathroom double hung rotted. Hopper window in other bathroom rotted. We used painting /staining products they recommended on them.. Glazier told us it's imported softer cedar.. It's costing a lot more to replace them all now. I called Colonial Warehouse and they weren't interested. :-(

Bought 4 window to replace the other ones. they fitted perfectly and look sensational. Thanks for your help team and will be back again.

Ordered our front door entry with sidelites panel from Colonial and are very happy with it. It was worth the wait as I looked around and looked for the best deal. It made our entry so grand and such a pleasure to look at each time we drive in. The workmanship is very good and we are now thinking of replacing our existing sliding door with bi-fold doors and our kitchen window as well. The only thing was when the delivery guy came, he was a one man delivery guy for a very big door so I helped and he pushed it quickly that my finger got caught and to date, my purple finger nail is still very much visible.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. Extremely unhappy with Colonial Warehouse services and product quality. Worst in Brisbane. They delivered a faulty/defected product. When called up to resolve the issue I was abused, sworn at and called a liar by a very angry old man. A complaint has been made to Fair Trading & Consumer Law. Waiting on response for a refund but unfortunately they’re incapable of answering or returning calls. I highly recommend using The Woodworkers Company!

Very unhappy with the service and product quality. We purchased 8 lite french doors and additional Lock set. Advertised as pre-fab - it wasn’t, still have to chip the wood out for the lock seat. Lock seat doesn’t work. Quality of the doors isn’t good with chips and cracks. Extremely overpriced. Followed up on the order multiple times only to be told it had been sitting in the warehouse the entire time. Hear different things from different staff. Delivery poorly organised - surprise delivery on the day. Derogatory comments from staff, “Did you email her?” - “Um yes about 3 times and still no reply in a week.” We won’t be using them again and have sourced another suppler.

It is with regret I have to add to the chorus of unhappy customers that have dealt with the Colonial Warehouse.After purchasing Windows earlier this year we ordered more of the same.There was a disparity in the pricing of the orders and it appeared we had been overcharged for the first order.When picking up the second order I questioned the Owner over the pricing.Without looking up from his computer, and with his back to me he stated “ you must have caught me on a good day”( whatever that meant).Unfortunately for Colonial Warehouse due to the lack of good customer service, and the level of arrogance of the Owner we will not be purchasing from this store again.

Poor communication. Had to chase them up multiple times to confirm orders and arrange delivery. They stuffed up the order and delivered the wrong windows, only to inform me there is a 12 week wait on the right ones. Prompt refund however they didn’t refund delivery charges so I’m $250 out of pocket for their mistake and still have no windows. I’m off to The Woodworkers instead.

Jose is the go to man here. Explained every thing to us regarding the doors and fittings we enquired about. Very large range of doors and windows in all shapes and sizes carefully laid out for easy viewing. Easy to access, ample parking.

I agree with other comments left regarding Colonial Warehouse. We purchased $10,000 of windows, they were sealed properly, kept in totally dry conditions inside the house and installed within 3 weeks of delivery. Wood rot everywhere and not even 10 years old. I have 100 year old timber on our Queenslander, and it hasn't even started to rot. These don't stand by their products. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, YOU WILL BE BURNED!

Great product and service. We are renovating our old Queenslander home and I've bought 2 sets of bi-fold doors and a Bi Fold Servery window for our kitchen. We've custom ordered it with french polish and locks. The doors were amazing with a perfect finish. Our builder just had to drop it in and fit it. It worked perfectly. Thanks Colonial Warehouse. Tibi
