Good Games Brisbane

Went in store to buy a card advertised on their website for $3.20. Was quoted for the exact same card (ungraded version) for $58. When I showed the sales member she would not match the price although it said click and collect was available and there was 1 unit in store and online. Extremely disappointed with their misleading information and astronomical price increase for a regular card. Showed the team member other online prices as well and still would not honour the $3.20 price. Would have been happy to pay $5-$19 but a $55 mark up is unacceptable for an ungraded card.

The best of the best for MTG singles and Yu-Gi-Oh singles in town. Friendly staff, they always welcome you into the store. The owner is the nicest guy you will ever meet. Huge play space, tons of board games, deck boxes, sleeves and some war hammer paints and models. Super sick AC for the summer they always have it blasting. Community is great for help and advice.It's the go to MTG store for everything magic in Brisbane!

I used to play here regularly but the store has continually burned long-standing community members in the mtg space. As a whole, the staff and owner do not provide a welcoming experience. The owner is willing to burn bridges with players that have attended local events for years in order to make a short term profit in an unfavourable deal. If you are looking for welcoming environments to play card games, there are lots of other great stores in Brisbane that deserve your time and money more than this place. Avoid if you can.

Came in last week looking for Magic cards, but as soon as I entered staff were rude and unhelpful. The store was unkept and the staff immediately acted snobby and disrespectful. When trying to retrieve store credit that was under our name in the system, they were rude about my name and ended up loosing my details. They did not try to find the $80 of lost store credit and did not care. They blatantly acted as if they did not care, didn’t even try to hide or fake it. After calling the store multiple times to follow up on updates, we have still heard nothing. Avoid this place at all costs. The staff are also very unhygienic.

They have the BEST casual commander nights of all Brisbane stores, it’s free and runs all afternoon. The community is diverse, with players of all levels.However, their store inventory is limited, they often lack many of the products from their site, and prices are usually higher in store than online.

Went to go in to buy some cards yesterday but left very quickly after hearing the way a staff member was treating a young male in the store. He was asking the man's name to which the young man was replying with a name he is called and uses everywhere...the employee mocked the man saying that's not a real name and then kept asking over n over for his REAL name. This young man was in there to use his store credit only to be told they couldn't find it and he had none under that name repeating several times for the male to give him his real name... the staff member was laughing as if the whole thing was a joke... I left the store and won't return and I will also be sharing my experience with all my fellow tcg players....Such a disappointment in this day and age !

Always had a good experience at Good Games Brisbane. Went in and sold a lot of Bulk Rares recently and got a very reasonable price for them considering they were pure bulk and I would have had a terrible time trying to sell them individually.
