Orbost Caravan Park

Been on the road traveling 23 years and stayed in hundreds of caravan parks in our time - never before have we experienced the level of rudeness of the male staff member before check in, and again while trying to check in.The woman was friendly on the phone and nice in person, but the male needs to take an extensive course in customer service. So rude.Such a pity as it was a very pretty park. We left the park before completing our check in. No surprise that on a Saturday during the summer school holidays the place was almost empty.

The cleanest facilities I have ever encountered. High pressure showers. Whole place lovely and well presented. Friendly staff. Dog friendly with park opposite with a lovely river walk. Will be back.0

After our stay at the Merimbula NRMA caravan resort, where the sites are practically on top of each other, this is like heaven! The sites are level, spacious, and trees provide shade.The amenities are clean and up to date. It's a welcome peaceful park after the overcrowded circus of Merimbula.

Broke down in Orbost and stayed for 10 days until our major car repair was completed. What a lovely park. Clean facilities. Short walk to town. Lovely quiet park. Tall leafy trees made beautiful setting. Lovely walks along the Snowy river. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Pet friendly? I think not. We stayed at this park overnight on our recent trip to Bermagui and on arrival our dog had the audacity to bark, he did not make a sound during the night. Apparently some “stick in the mud “ had complained, consequently our return booking was cancelled by phone whilst in transit. Very disappointed. If you are travelling with a dog, I would not recommend this park

Very pleasant stay to break our trip to Mallacoota. We had a double block so didn’t even have to unhinge the caravan. Powered and with easy access to the amenity block, which was very clean and with hot showers.

A nice park and a good town. We enjoyed spending money at the pub, supermarket and cafes. All going great until our interaction with male staff member/manager. What a horrible little man. If Orbost is serious about attracting people to support local economy people like him should be out of customer facing role. We won’t be back.

A lovely park with a terrible hostess. The hostess took pleasure in belittling and humiliating her guests. She has no comprehension of customer service and should never deal with the public.Having travelled Australia extensively this experience was certainly the worst. I cannot recommend a stay here.
