Brewed Awakening
this is the only coffee shop in the kelvin grove QUT campus. The coffee is good and strong. All you need in the morning before going to your class. The pastry is OK. they have always one kind of salads and many sandwiches. I recommend the New York cheesecake with a long black.

One of the baristas remembered my name for my order, and I wouldn’t even consider myself a regular! It made me very happy and I felt valued. He made my day!

Their food is nice, however I watched them pour their iced coffee out of a milk bottle into my cup. When I drank it, it actually tasted like shop bought iced coffee and it was pre-sweetened which I don't usually like. Also we went on a deal day where their iced coffee was meant to be $1 and we even asked for the '$1 iced coffee' and was charged the regular price.

Extra 50c for a bit of honey. Sugar is free. Like I know it's only 50c but it's sad that anything slightly healthier is more expensive. Iced Latte is mostly a big block of ice in about half a cup of milk and coffee. Brekkie wrap was good, but sauce overpowered the taste of the whole thing..

This is the third time I've had an almond mocha in the last few weeks and every time I'm shocked by how disappointing it is.I keep going back because last semester I had a couple of great experiences. But no more.I don't know what they're doing wrong but the coffee is burnt, the milk is like water and there's little to no chocolate flavour at all.I can't understand how everyone has rated it so well. Please fix it and I'll take down my review.

My colleagues and I work nearby the QUT campus and tried Brewed Awakening for the first time on Thursday. All 3 of us commented after we were served at the uninterested demenour of the girl who took our orders. Almost rude. Felt unwelcomed here.

Great food and coffee. But unfortunately the staff were visibly irritated by me using my reusable coffee cup. I understand they couldnt touch the cup... Instead of putting the coffee into the little jug they use, the barrista put it first into a disposable cup and then discarded it after putting the coffee in mine.... kindof defeats the whole purpose.

Absolutely gorgeous friendly girl served me both times I been now extremely good cappuccino recommend anyone likes a good cuppa to try it out
