I will do my full review later, but so far it has been.... Interesting.Watching the owner clean a table with the floor broom was...interesting.Watching the owner put a reservation on our table after we'd been sitting there for 30 minutes was... Interesting.We did have plans to eat here.... But felt like we weren't welcome.The food looked good though and they do have an independent English ale on tap which is super cool.Rest of the beer selection is terrible though. Needs more local beer.

A venue reminiscent of the British family pubs. The Guinness on tap an added bonus! Perhaps the seating could be upgraded as a tad uncomfortable for us aging customers.Not much variation on the menu & perhaps could be reviewed. Overall however an excellent venue for a basic lunch or a nice night out. Heaps of potential.

A real taste of an authentic English pub in Albany . Exactly like walking into a pub in England. Excellent food and beautiful historic interior ,every inch in this pub is amazing . We had a great night .Fish n chips were delicious and the pie was huge and yummo. Irish coffee hit the spot.

Excellent lunch..try the pork belly, it was exceptional.We are planning to back for the Guinness pie which is highly recommended.The staff are friendly and check in, all round a very pleasant experience, thank you.

Charming little pub/bistro just slightly off the main drag: handy location and plenty of parking.Very good selection of beers and spirits. (I didn't check the wine list.) I had the bangers and mash one night, and fish and chips a few days later.Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff who functioned professionally and with good humour when the place filled up with a boisterous crowd for the Albany International Folk 'N Shanty Festival. Brilliantly appropriate venue with its old world feel which provided a great atmosphere for performances.A top spot which I'll be returning to next time I'm in town.

I had the chicken parmi for lunch and then went back another day and had the beef and ale pie for dinner. Both meals were excellent and they have a dog-friendly beer garden. Highly recommend.

Great pub with nice food and a good beer and wine selection. Super friendly and helpful staff. The pie and chips was very yummy, and the steak was well cooked. Felt super at home here.
