The moment you enter Steve’s you are warmly greeted by their friendly staff. The butcher is immaculate, clean and well organised and includes marinated meats. Not overly priced too and they will even take your bags to your car.

Steve's gourmet pork, bacon and maple sausages are probably worth traveling half way across the city for (fortunately for me I don't have to go too far and the lure of the nearby playground for my daughter's keeps me coming back to the area). The prices are high for most of the meats but the quality is high and the welcome you receive sincere. Steve is a strong local advocate for the small shopping precinct and was instrumental in getting the children's playground built. A treat more than a staple

I am not a meat lover myself but always buy home made sausages, lamb kofta and mince meat for my family. All fresh and good quality. The reason that I go is because the sausages are home made and I trust my butcher will not put any nastiness in there. I just would like to know more about the origin of the meat and how everything is made. I think that will bring the customer closer and trust you more. All in all I am happy and I am a very picky customer.
