Like many of you potential buyers out there, I held the view that Zip had a quality product. Well after spending a stack of money and investing in a Zip Hydro Tap.6 years later we have had the pleasure of paying a service rep, to tell us that the unit was cooked and you need to buy a new one. I get the warranty is for 3 years, but with good care and regular servicing I had expected a much longer lifespan, before the obsolescence kicked in.In short don't buy this product unless you are planning to replace the unit after the warranty expires.

Buyer beware! This company is joke!Don't waste your money on HydroCare!We purchased the Bronze plan for our new tap in our office. It's only 2 years old.The cold water function stopped working this morning so I contacted the HydroCare department and was advised the technician would be out in one week. When I reminded the customer service agent that we had paid for priority service under our Bronze Agreement she explained that Zip actually decides what is a priority at the time and our issue is apparently not a priority for Zip! Very misleading!!I have a Zip tap at home and have had issues with their customer service in the past. Not surprised but very disappointed!Don't waste your money on Hydrocare. Better still, don't waste your money on a Zip tap. I'd check out their competitor Billi .

Pool accounts service, if I could, I wish we never had their product. Their accounts team is not helping at all. We were booking services and paying on invoices before, suddenly they stopped sending us invoices and request payment on the site. We agreed to prepay moving forward as we do not have a credit card to pay onsite, and they refuses to send through prepayment invoices or documentations, their accounts team were just not helping at all.

Need to improve your customer experience.Nobody just buys a product. It’s a journey with your company in the lifespan of the product bought.Great product if it works.Customer service sucks, needs serious improvement.

Really poor level of customer support and service I had a service tech come and look at my unit for a fault and told me it needs replacement without looking at it .I then called a friend who was a former zip employee to test it and diagnosed a faulty tap within 30 seconds and replaced it for me .I’ve asked for a refund for my service call and his time but I’ve had no response.It’s very sad that a brand like zip could not back up their product with quality technicians or even customer support over the phone .

It took 8 phone calls to set up an installation date. They make you pay the machine IN FULL, a $6000 payment over the phone, and didn't released an invoice (their company policy is wacko, you have to pay the entire thing in advance, you won't have proof of purchase the machine until AFTER the machine is installed). Then, they stopped returning my calls when I tried to contact them to organise the installation. The technician who came out was good enough, their customer service however is APPALLING. The people on the phone have no idea of what they are doing, and the company is extremely badly organise. Their product is very expensive, but they don't have a competitor so they treat their clients like they are doing them a favour.

DO NOT BUY A ZIPTAP.They are very unreliable and I had mine serviced 5 times in 4 years.The after sales service is appalling.It has taken 3.5 months to get my zip tap back after my latest breakdown and after 20 phone calls.No one in the company cares or knows what's going on including the Victorian Service Manager.Trust me do not buy a ziptap.When it breaks down it will be very costly to repair and will take months before they return it fixed.

I have been a Zip customer for over 30 years both in business and personal usage utilising their HydroTaps. I have always accepted the terms of their maintenance agreements and have on occasion had cause to call the Zip Maintenance department where I have found excellent service. By having a Maintenance agreement I have always received prompt service and the servicing of my equipment at the outset of the agreement has made my association with Zip trouble free.

I miss my Zip tap almost as much as I miss my bed when I’m on holiday! I absolutely love it. Customer service has been great from installation to gas refills to one problem that had to be resolved. 10/10 recommend!
