Terrible. Don't waste your time and money. From service to management, this place is a joke and if you are after a creamy blonde, this is their version of it. It has taken months to get my hair back to normal.

Best haircut experience of my life. Beautiful result due to the attention to detail and genuine care that the lovely hairdressers put into your cut. The service was amazing- fast, comfortable, great coffee! Could not recommend more.

Best hairdressing experience ever! I was a first time customer and got the rock start treatment. I wanted a huge and difficult change that my regular hairdresser had refused to do. We had 5 or 6 people involved in my colour consultation (including the Wella consultant on the phone!), with all the process and possible risks fully explained to me. Felt in absolutely safe hands and love the outcome. It's a 40 minute drive for me, and there are about 10 salons in my suburb I could go to, but I'll definitely be going back to Portfolio Mona Vale.

Last week I walked in to Portfolio without an appointment to fix a bad haircut I had elsewhere. They were able to accommodate me and the service from all staff was warm and professional.Stefano coloured, cut and styled my hair in the most meticulous way I've ever experienced. He is an absolute master of his art and I left feeling smiling ear to ear because of my gorgeous new hair. What's even better is the short layered cut is so expertly created, even with my thick hair I was able to recreate the style I want at home easily! I have never had such a beautiful and manageable haircut. Thank you Stefano and Portfolio!

I would not recommend this place if you have thick curly hair. They don't have the experience and are unprofessional. I came here just before New Years to treat myself for my birthday with foils and a cut. I presented with a picture of myself for the colour and cut I was hoping for. I was quoted $350 which is already way more than I would normally pay however I agreed to it given the reputation of this place.My experience began with 3 hairdressers" trying to comb out my hair. The entire time they were laughing and overwhelmed. I had brought my own curly brush in but a couple were adamant to use the thin combs that did nothing for my hair.I then had 3 different people doing my foils. I originally asked for a head stylist but 2 of the 3 were not. Each section of my hair had the foils done differently - one was alternating between two different types of foils

Stefano cut my hair a week ago...great service, great experience! He listened carefully to what I was looking for, we discussed together the best way to get what I wanted and he even drove me through what he was doing! Couple of days later I had to blow dry my hair by myself and it's been so much easier! Thank Stefano!!

First time at the salon. Have been looking for a new salon for a while and I have finally found it. Fabulous colour, cut and blow dry. Massage chair at basin and great tea and coffee.

I have had the same stylist, my grandma, do my hair for my entire 23 years of life! When I moved to Australia I was so nervous about anyone touching my hair. I was recommended by multiple people to see Alice at Portfolio Hair and I have never been happier! Alice always makes sure I am doing alright before, during, and after the cut. She, and the entire staff for that matter, is always so accommodating and professional. I was so nervous my first cut but I will never see anyone else but Alice! I have been seeing her for about a year now and couldn’t be happier with my new styles. She is incredibly creative and understands what I want when I try to explain to her. I just got my hair cut last week and the compliments are endless! I would recommend anyone to Alice and Portfolio Hair!
