We dined at Maggis tonight and the meals were very good.Have been a few times since they started running the kitchen and we keep going back as their menu offers many choices and provides excellent value.

Shower screen badly cracked top & bottom, toilet cracked, no where to sit or side cupboards. Very rough looking, carpets dirty & aged. Beds clean & comfortable just overpriced at $120 a night. Happy to pay $80

We were very happy with the room and it's facilities. We enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel, whilst it made us walk a few hundred metres, it provided us with a great sea view and a good excuse for a walk on the jetty.It was also great to have fast reliable WiFi!

The newly renovation of this hotel is superb! It is modern, light & airy with all new amenities. We felt very happy and comfortable staying here over the new year period. The aircon works great & even has a nice outdoor pool!

Having read reviews before holidaying, I was not hopeful but was pleasantly surprised. Because I was with my adult son, we were given a 2 bedroom unit. Although some things were a bit old or chipped, there was plenty of storage, the airconditioner and fridge worked well and the shower was great. Having stayed in another place where the flyscreens were ill-fitting and torn, this was one of the first things I checked out and they were perfect, allowing us to have open windows. The staff were all friendly, the breakfasts great and we enjoyed a meal in the bistro.I would not hesitate to recommend this motel for a budget holiday.

For an older place to stay, this was ideal. Nothing fancy, but it was comfortable. Many people complain that there is no dining room, bistro service, but this was quite easily overcome by eating elsewhere, or buying tea and bringing it back to the room.Using a Travel Auction, the location and price suited me and I am glad I wasn't frightened off by other nasty reviews.We stayed there 4 nights and weren't disappointed. We were still able to spend the days driving around the area, and saw a lot. The Port Broughton Sunnyside Hotel-Motel was the key to having a great short holiday.
