Spare Change Lilydale

Spare change lilydale is really amazing place for shopping. I have bought 3 seater electrical recliners and LG washing machine. Their driver delivered to me the next day. I did not know it was in the box. So I asked the shop for assembling. I am 65 years old lady and it is very hard for me to put them together. The shop manager arranged for me immediately without any delay. The driver is so nice guy. He moved my old couch outside my house and put the new couch in my house. He connected the power for the electrical recliners and test for me. He also put the washing machine in my place. He is so professional guy for doing everything. I was so happy with their customer service. The shop manager gave me very good price for the couch and washing machine. Highly recommend for these guys. It is worth for you to go there and have a look.

I can honestly say that I will never shop here again or recommend it to anyone. Andy (the owner) told me that delivery to my apartment on the second floor in Bayswater would cost $85. When I bought the couch, I was told that it was currently on back order and would arrive in a week. Three weeks later, I still hadn't received my couch and had received no communication from anyone at the store. I then had a call from the delivery driver the day before to let me know they were delivering it the following day. When the delivery guys arrived at 7:30pm, they informed me that they do not deliver to the top floor. I'm in shock at this point because I paid for delivery to my apartment, which is clearly stated on my invoice. I then ask how much it will cost, and they quote me $90 more to take it up two flights of stairs. So they wanted $175 for delivery in total. I was not going to pay that, so they left me there to carry three heavy boxes up the stairs to my apartment. Not to mention that they didn't even deliver the last box as the couch I purchased comes in four pieces. The boxes were also delivered wet and damaged, and the couch quality is cheap. Please save yourself the trouble and DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.UPDATE: Since posting the review, I received contact from Andy. It only took 15 minutes of the review being up for him to call me. He 'sincerely' apologised for the mistake on his behalf and offered me compensation of $50, in exchange for the review to be taken down. Keep in mind, there was no compensation offered until the review was posted, even after I went in to speak with him. Spare change is all about the money and no care for customers.

The Euro mattress purchased is a great mattress and reasonably priced. Also got very good service from Andy at the store and after purchase. The delivery driver was also very helpful with bringing the mattress into the house. Happy to recommend Spare Change to others.

The furniture is so nice here. Very good experience with purchase on outdoor set and sofa. Top quality, very cheap price. The service is second to none.

If you need furniture , I recommend this store. Exceptional customer service and very well priced for their furniture and white goods. The manger is very helpful and knowledgeable. I have got one big u shape couch. $500 cheaper than the other shops with the same one. Same day delivery. Highly recommend.

This place is really good for deals. I was really impressed with large selection of varieities, white goods and furniture. Could not find better price around or online. Their service was outstanding. I have got the sofa, outdoor lounge, LG fridge and TCL 65 Tv for a big package deal. The same day delivery to our house. It's definitely worth a visit.

I often go there for different items such as, craft stuff, Birthday/ Get Well cards, utensil items, picture frames and children's toys etc. Theres also indoor and outdoor furniture .

If you need some furniture, you have to go this shop. I was really surprised with both their large selection of furniture, white goods and housewares but also the prices. Their service was outstanding for us. Gave us genuine suggestions for selecting our furniture. To be honest, we have not found any better prices for similar products online or somewhere. I have bought modular couch, westinghouse fridge, LG dishwasher and TCL tv. The best deal I have got from them. I have got the same delivery. I was so happy with the purchase and customer service. Definitely recommended them.

I have been this shop last weekend and got the corner couch, outdoor set and double door fridge. Their price is so bargain and quality is great. Very happy with their service and price. Quick delivery as well. Will go back for sure.
