Best bookstore I've ever been in 100%They have a great selection of books within a specific genre range (sci-fi/fantasy/horror)Very inclusive, when I walked up to the counter the man there explained he wasn't being rude, he saw that I had earplugs in and took that as a sign of not wanting to talk. He explained that a group of people got together and considered the difficulties with autism, then explained they also have a wide door for wheelchairs, etc.Seriously great they did that and the staff are all passionate about it!

Incredible service. I went in just for the new book smell and walked out with two books. Stefen read the the first page of a good just so he could do the voices. 11/10 recommend.

Fantastic bookstore catering to a sci-fi/fantasy/horror crowd. Stefan and staff give amazing recommendations and know the whole inventory in great detail. I've never walked out with a bad recommendation. If you have trouble finding new reads then ask! Good monthly newsletter and occasional events.

Stefen is THE guru.This is the kind of bookshop that you can walk into with an idea of what you may like, and Stefen will point you in the right direction. It is also the kind of bookshop where you can walk into without any idea of what you're after and Stefen will point you in a direction you both never thought of and never knew you needed.Every visit is an adventure in itself and that's before you've even bought a book.Cannot recommend this bookshop enough!!!

Lovely experience in the bookshop. The owner is very knowledgeable and clearly knows his stuff. Amazing personality as well.

Five stars isn't enough for Stefen's Books.. This guy knows his stuff with all the genres of books he carries.. I went in looking for a particular book and walked out with three others.. I get the impression from him that hes read every book on the many shelves in his shop.. If you're looking for a Fantasy, or Horror, or a Science Fiction novel or even a Sherlock Holmes book (with a twist), don't go anywhere else. Come have a chat with Stefen... He's been around since Supa Nova in William Street in the 90s..

Would give Stefen 10 stars... amazing guy and an even amazing collection of scifi and fantasy books. I came in searching for a particular author and since he was out of stock brought another book. The guy knows his books and his suggestions are even better. Will recommend any scifi and fantasy fans to check out this store

THIS IS MY HAPPY PLACE !Stefen may be one of the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life!He specifically designed the layout of the store to accommodate any motor or sensory issues anyone may have.He truly loves books (he recited the entire opening page of Snow Crash from memory !)He gives off what I could only describe as an aura of kindness and comfort the second you talk to him.AND THE SELECTION OF BOOKS IS AMAZING !!! XDIf you are even slightly nerdy or know someone nerdy, then make sure to grab your reading glasses and pocket-protector and head over to this bookstore!(If he had a reading chair in the corner, I would never leave !)

Stefen is an astonishingly deep well of knowledge on, near as I can tell, every single book he stocks. Great selection.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I wondered into Stefen's Books today just to waste some time before work. No intention of buying anything, I mean, what's the point? I haven't read a book since high school. The man behind the counter enthusiastically greeted me and lifted my mood instantly. Then, when I picked up a book he started to passionately tell me about it and we started talking about what sort of books ive read in the past. He was incredibly lovely and passionate that I went stuff it, I'm going to buy it and I don't regret it. I am absolutely loving this book! Never Saw Me Coming".
