After roaming around Rosebery looking for a place to eat, we came across the cannery and 5th earl was the closest to the front so we chose it. It looked like it had a great vibe which it did. We really enjoyed our food here. We both ordered the earl’s burger which was surprisingly so tasty. I didn’t expect much as I thought it would taste like any other burger but no. It was delicious, juicy and so flavourful. We also ordered a slice of banana bread which was so good. Overall we were very satisfied.Food ✅ Service ✅ Atmosphere ✅

Great place. We are regulars every weekend and then have hosted many birthday parties for over 20 people. Always good food, always happy and helpful staff, and always satisfied faces from ourselves and all of our guests. Thank you Mary, we appreciate 5th Earl very much.

One of Rosebery’s many cute cafes. The menu offers a large selection of choices, sure to have something for everyone. We got the Chicken Salad and Bircher. Generous portion of fresh fruit and salad in both dishes. Offers both inside and outdoor seatings in the Cannery. Lovely local cafe to catch up with friends.

Went to brunch there this morning with 2 friends. Best cafe i have been to in a while. I had the Earls Breakfast" to eat. Portion was so big

It's a nice place for lunch and coffee. Prices are a little expensive but not too bad for the area. Food was delicious, well presented and came out in a timely manner, despite being a fairly busy public holiday.

Very nice place for brunch. I had the earl breakfast and was a big plate with all fresh ingredients. Not my favourite coffee but juice was nice and fresh. Recommended.

When here on a bit of a whim and was totally impressed. It was only me, so I had a coffee and the fritters. Coffee was great and the fritters were delicious. Good fritters have a crispy edge and a moist inside and this place had that in spades. Really happy.

Ordered the Baked Eggs with lamb ragu. Worst $28 I ever spent. Aesthetic food but poorly seasoned and flavour profile was lack lustre. Wasn’t able to even get through half of the dish, similar to lady beside me, who left hers on the table. My friends ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and the French Toast. The Philly was the same, poorly seasoned beef and overcooked. The French toast was the redeeming factor. It was better than the other two dishes.You would expect better attention to detail for food that ranges above $25. Overall, would not recommend.
