Have bread with your filling if any filling at all , ripped off ... didn't even have sandwichs , only foccacias and had to take out a personal loan for it !! In the end it was a flat piece cardboard box ... Below IS a king of a sandwich from elsewhere that I made myself

Just OK. On the good side it’s a nice bright clean place that’s quite spacious. It also has a nice outside area at the front. The coffee is good too. Strong and flavoursome. We weren’t that keen on the food though. It was a bit stodgy and flavourless we thought. Not sure I’d bother returning here

Hands down best cafe ever! First time coming todayBeig a coffee connoisseur I can say this is by far best coffee I’ve had and awesome muffin- high quality foodSon had iced chocolate which wasn’t just chocolate topping and a burger he said was the best burger he has hadFriendly service and amazing foodSo impressed. I never leave reviews but couldn’t help it as I was so impressed

Probably the oldest Cafe in Hastings and a very good one at that. The sandwich king specialises is burgers and sandwiches compared to other cafes. Their burgers are good as is their French toast. They also have several milkshake and smoothie items and lots of seating inside and out

The menu inside does not have prices but the food and coffee are great. A little confusing but the staff is very friendly and willing to help.

Sandwich King Cafe
Stopped here for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the lovely service, great coffee, and delicious fresh food. The Mediterranean toasted sandwich (pictured) was full of flavour with lots of veggies, salami and good quality feta.Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, clean and tidy.Recommend if you need a nice, quick and inexpensive meal.

One of the best cafes I have ever been too.The coffee was absolutely fantastic and the food there was even better. The staff there were amazing and extremely friendly.

Sandwich King Cafe
Not a fan of this place. Staff sometimes don't greet you and ignore you for a little bit. I ordered food that was already sitting there ready and it took over 5 mins to actually get it. All they did was place it in the press to heat it but apparently only one person could do that while everyone else stood around.

Sandwich King Cafe
Good burgers and great service. Hawaii 5.0 was good. The Shack was missing caramelised onion and the beetroot but perhaps they were missing the ingredients. Juicy patty with bits of carrot. Eggs cooked well. Chips were nice with chicken salt.
