Nice store and good quality shoes, but unfortunately poor customer service when I messaged through website and then emailed twiceat the end if last year about exchanging our brand new, just picked up and never worn shoes for a bigger size. A simple reply to say yes we do exchanges or no we don't is all I wanted. One email can easily be missed, but a message and two emails? Poor customer service, I wish I'd had a better experience since this is our closest dancewear store...*Edit, no response from the owner, what a surprise!

Great customer service.Purchased a ballet skirt from Dance & Play. When I received the package it had been sent via express (I didn’t select express) as it took a little longer to dispatch the skirt. I really appreciated this. Shows they care about their customers. The skirt is great and my daughter loves it.

So disappointed in the lack of customer care from this business.I noted nearly two months later than the original order date that two backordered items had never been sent as promised.This was a handwritten note on the invoice when a partial order had originally arrived.Upon enquiry I received a reply with no apology for lack of follow up just granting the refund I requested.but only via the credit card originally used for purchase. This card has since expired.... as it’s been such a long time now.I am beyond disgusted but more so by their lack of follow up regarding the backordered items taking so long and emails failing to apologise now I brought it to their attention..Had I not made contact today I wonder how many more months they would have waited until contacting me.Shame on you Dance and Play

I have ordered (online) from this store a number of times during the last 12 months. I continue to be impressed by the prompt and reliable service. When I have needed to call about products, staff have been friendly and helpful. They have become my first port of call for ordering dance gear online, and I can highly recommend them. A great shopping experience!!

Saved me the drive for only a pair of shoes. I'm in Brisbane but haven't been able to get to the store for the past few months, so thought I'd try their on-line store with the free shipping option for over $50. I made the purchase on Monday and they were delivered by Wednesday noon. Very happy.

The store is always closed, the last visit that it was actually open customer service was disgusting. She was rude, passive aggressive and very unhelpfulThe only thing I could compliment on the store is the young girl, who cares about her customers and always helps.Defintley not coming back.

Loved this store! I was blown away as soon as I walked in!!Such a huge range and everything you need is there.The staff were very knowledgeable and so friendly and helpful.My son loves his new HipHop pants and my daughter can't wait until she is old enough for a fitting in your elegant Pointe shoe room.I think she has already picked out a Tiara for her birthday too!Thanks so much ladies.

I am only 12 and I still recommend this shop because it is the best dance, cheer and gymnastics shop in the area. I'm a dancer and every time I need new clothes, shoes, bags and hair products i know where to ask my mum to take me! The prices are cheap and the items are worth so much more then how much they ask for. LOVE THIS SHOP SO MUCH!!!

Interstate customer using the online 'store'. Whilst the store is typically well stocked and there is a decent range of products, the customer service upheld is far from acceptable.Order online at your own risk, as it is a risk you'll be taking in regards to when your item arrives.I made an order just under two weeks for items I needed for a performance. Having previously made orders and receiving them within a decent time frame, I was sure this would also be the case. Unfortunately, I was very wrong. I received clarification that my order had been posted A WEEK AND A HALF AFTER my initial order date.When I questioned the reasoning to this, I was informed that an item was out of stock and they just casually waited for the item to arrived. I was also told to leave a note next time :/No effort to contact me to update me on the order was made, or to see if I would even like to proceed with the order given that I paid for an item that did not 'exist'. Happy to take my money and carry on. The manager (I assume) even attempted to blame AusPost...Grossly unacceptable. No attempt made to help, or to rectify the issue, just blatant statements that it is what it is, too bad for you, essentially.
