If you like overenthusiastic and pushy staff, all with the exact same sell lines, this place is for you! Can't walk in the door without having the hard sell put on you and the lines they pull out are laughable! Apparently every staff member has the same bbq and cooks the exact same things, great range of products im sure are great quality, if you can get past the gatekeepers..

I went in there looking at a Ziggy 2 burner. The sales lady was very knowledgeable of the products. She explained in great detail it’s features. I ended up buying the 3 burner and I’m so glad I did as it fits the pizza stone. It cooks the best pizzas of all the bbq’s I have had. The heat is even and controlled. Raj also set me up with some amazing rubs and techniques for ribs and pulled pork.

The team at BBQ Townsville have been very helpful though my purchase of an Traeger Grill.I have been coming in to the store for sometime to tire kick the BBQ's as we hadn't settled into a new place yet and had to wait. I finally got the nod from the wife and went and found the unit I wanted where Raj and Anju sorted out a good deal and made sure I got the correct unit.The photo below is from my first attempt at a brisket in the Ironwood!

These guys are legends! Just brought a 3 burner Ziggy and absolutely love it. Thanks for taking the time to show me everything plus sharing some recipes. Not often I enjoy being sold to, but it was a great experience! They were fair and gave a balanced review of the different options of bbqs. Great range of accessories, outdoor furniture and meat rubs/seasonings etc. everything you need for a great bbq. Highly recommend. These guys clearly love their work and it definitely shows.
