Great concept and lots of gear. You could spend a day there poking through things and seeing what works and what doesn't. eg I looked at sewing machines and there were loads, but I didn't have time or inclination to plug them all in and try them all out. I have bought there once but have since been put off by what I thought was too high a price when I asked. I only wish they would put actual prices on things, at least the big things. Some things I like but I only like if they are cheap and you don't know unless you ask, and sometimes have to chase around to find a staff member who, while friendly enough, is busy so I just walk away. More transparency in pricing would really help.

Pricing has gone ridiculous. They have a pile of old sinks on the dirt outside and I asked for a price. They're $50 each! Get real, nothing is moving because they got greedy and I won't go back.

Has gone down hill recently. Reduced opening days, reduced hours, but worst of all, ridiculous pricing. You're going to be stuck with a lot of overpriced junk sitting there. And please spare me the corporate double-speak that you regurgitated to the last reviewer. This is the opposite of reuse and recycling. Who's going to pay a few dollars less than NEW retail pricing for something used, worn or broken?

Please stop with the false advertising on your DVDs.Very over priced and complete misleading prices. Have posters up all over the shop for DVD prices only to be told that doesn't apply to 90% of what we picked up. If your poster says DVD's are 3 for $5" sell your DVDs for that price and not "$5 per disc" which is what they tried to charge me when I went to check out. I was amazed to see how many DVDs they had but it completely makes sense now why they have so many if that's what they are charging. I spend almost 2 hours filling a basket with items to buy only to have to spend another 20 minutes putting half of it back after being told the price wasn't as advertised. Really very disappointing - if a large retail store did that they would be sued for false advertising. And the cherry on top was when they tried to charge me for the milk crate I picked up to carry things around the shop. Absolutely crazy prizes for a tip store. Got charged over $90 for 20 dvds and some plush toys was absolutely dumbfounded. Will not be returning."

Way over priced, will be going elsewhere to take rubbish and to recycle. Its a tip shop, not an antique shop.I hope the new owners take notice of all the bad reviews. You pay to dump rubbish and then get overcharged if you want to buy something in the shop to help reduce landfill.Cranky blonde lady on weekends is just rude. Not Tracey. Tracey is fabulous, but since the new owners have taken over the staff dont even seem as happy. It used to be fun to go have a look in the tip shop. Now the employees can get in trouble for not charging enough. This is not what the tip shop used to be. Its not about recycling and reducing landfill and helping people buy things they couldnt afford new anymore. Its not for the community anymore. Its for Revive to charge you to dump and over charge you again to reuse, recycle and help stop things going into landfill.Take note new owners. Noone is happy with the new system. You should have left Tracey in charge, you should have kept the auction( it kept alot of people coming back and was fun) Tracey had people coming back because she was happy, fair and reasonable prices, now Tracey seems stressed by guidelines and there is nothing she can do. She is great at her job. Put Tracey back in charge, customers loved her, employees loved her, let her run it how she used to and watch the items move thru shop, getting more saved from landfill and keeping customers not only happy but coming back every week. Not going back here. Will find somewhere else thats not privately owned to rip people off pretending it is for the sake of the enviroment.Shame on you new company. We liked our tip shop as it was with Tracey in charge. Lots of people no longer bothering to go to the shop.Terrible revamp by new owners. Take note pls of all bad reviews and make our tip shop what it was before. Bring back the auction for the valuable items. cant be hard to get the right license to have the auction. Or have a monthly auction for the day with an auctioneer. People would come, people would enjoy it and the vibe around the tip shop would improve again. Look at the auction books and see just how many people enjoyed it. Bring back the green shop as it was please.Overcharging is ridiculous

Was an interesting place to visit. I don't understand why the other reviews are so negative. It's located in a waste management place. You can't expect it to look like an unmarket store. Their items were interesting, and they had things ranging from furniture to car parts. I enjoyed looking around and things we got were cheap.
