Gentle Nails

I got acrylics earlier today, it’s Christmas Eve and I only had to wait 30 minutes which was awesome! But unfortunately my nails have come out a bit crooked which I’ve never experienced when I’ve gone to other places! It felt very rushed through the whole process and when I asked for one nail to be slimmed a little on the sides so it matches the rest of the nails, she filed them for a second and went back to doing the rest of the nails, resulting in that nail standing out and it looks completely different to the rest of the nails. I have a few bumps on my nails, not sure what from but they’re cured in the nail polish so it’s nothing from after the salon. I also have the glue they used on the sides of my finger nails, and along the cuticle and some of the nails hurt? Just hurt and feel like they’re going to fall off at the smallest pressure! I love the colour and despite feeling rushed the lady was lovely, and the woman next to me got beautiful nails, but unfortunately I’m getting these removed after Christmas! At least the prices are reasonable! I just wish I looked at some of the reviews first!

Went in this afternoon for a pedicure and to fix ONE nail. Pedicure was okay, rushed, no massage. Blue nail polish left on my toes, dead skin still left on my feet. definitely NOT worth $50.. hot towel was on for 1 second on each leg.. no joke. I also came in with my brother who has an intellectual disability. He loves getting his feet done and finds it very relaxing. The young boy and one of the ladies kept talking in their own language and staring at him then looking at eavbother and saying things. My brother suffers from rosacea so has a very red face, I heard them say “look skin”, and looked and chuckled. My brother is very intelligent and feeds off of other peoples vibes. He noticed I was uncomfortable and unhappy as I knew they were talking about him, so he started to become unsettled and stressed.Asked them to fix one nail that snapped in the morning. Didn’t even measure or compare it to the other nails. Completely different shape. Once I washed my hands and noticed I went to the counter and asked for them to re do it. After the man complaining that the worker and myself should’ve checked, he told me to sit down and wait. As I waited a couple other customers came in and decided not to go there as they didn’t want to pay the price. The employed man then turns to me and starts complaining about his potential customers. When the nail lady came back to fix my nail, she tried to change the shape of the other pinky to match. I asked her to stop as she just changed the shape to coffin when my other nails are square. She then started to file down the nail that didn’t need re doing, and messed up the shape. She re did the original finger that needed fixing, and the simple French design she completely ruined and didn’t even make it even.. now, my other pinky that wasn’t meant to be touched is now completely out of shape and extremely short compared to the others. I asked her to fix it as it was her wrong doing, but instead she just added an extra layer or acrylic (after I advised her I don’t use acrylic for my nails) and did a terrible French on it. So I’ve walked out pretty much in the same position I started with. I couldn’t be bothered complaining for a second time as the customer service was just terrible, and the nail lady was visibly annoyed at me. As I was getting my pedicure done, I saw another very unhappy young girl. 3 people attempted to do the design she wanted (which was just the initial ‘H’).. in the end they wiped it off and I watched her leave and complain to her boyfriend.I never go to shops like this unless its for a pedicure. I always go to my favourite small business, and will 100% continue to do so even if I have to wait 2 weeks to fix one nail!!!!Not happy, definitely not be coming back. Not worth the $60 AT ALL.Wanted a refund but didn’t want to deal with the negative owner.

Very rude people just because they think you don’t understand their language. they’ll literally run you down to each other while doing your nails etc. would of never walked in if I knew I was just paying to get judged , yes I know my toe nails are short and yes I know my feet look warn out. I’m pregnant and also watching my daughter 24/7 so I don’t have time to keep up to peoples perfections. Honestly we’re all human at the end of the day and it’s disgusting when you run others down.

1 star is being generous… took 45 minutes to remove a set of acrylics looked as if they had no idea what they were doing seriously unsure if these people are qualified. Watched as ladies had their nails done and they would swap technicians every 5 minutes have about 5 different people doing one set most unprofessional nail salon I have ever been too!! Don’t waste your money.

horrible service!asked for the length I usually get from this salon and was told there to long so they had to cut them shorter so I only had to pay $60 but then my sister got the length I wanted an only got charged $60!! Nails are all wonky! Not the shape I wanted! Bad service! Dirty salon! do not recommend

my favourite nail place by far! always amazing service and kind staff, got a pedicure for the first time yesterday and i am amazed at how perfect the service was! always does my nails perfectly and i leave very happy! definitely recommend

Massage chair was broken with a hard bit sticking out. She put a cushion behind me so couldn’t use the massage. 3 different people did my feet with a rushed wash as the rudely chatted among themselves when my partner asked if they could swap me to a chair that’s not broken. Could tell they were discussing it among themselves. The young boy who finished my polish was only friendly one. Won’t come back here again and we normally buy people gift vouchers for here.

I have been to a lot of nail salons and this is by far the worst experience EVER. I took my mum here with me, she got asked for a pedicure and shellac removal and I asked for shellac on my fingers. I initially asked the wait time to be told it would be immediate. We were both waiting for 35 mins and in this time they had only washed my mum’s feet with dettol and had not started my nails. The guy who did my nails did an extremely bad job, lumpy and not neat at all (painted skin around my nails). After mine were done they still had not done anything else to my mum so we got up and left as by this point it had been an hour. They charged my mum $25 just to soak her feet in dettol and did not understand our disgust in this service. All I can say is I will never come back and don’t recommend.

Bf and I had both our nails done, mine wasn’t too bad but the guy that did his nail completely messed his up, super messy nail polish everywhere and very uneven and chunky. And on top of that they over charged me as well. Do not recommend this place, they seems to only take care of their regulars.
