Ellerslie Cottage — Flophouse | Ellerslie Cottage is located on a former sheep farm in Glenhope, approximately 15 minutes from Kyneton or 30 minutes from Castlemaine by car. Ellerslie Cottage is a one-bedroom stone cottage in an idyllic location by Pipers Creek, Barfold. The cottage is situated by Pipers Creek and, while only just over an hour from Melbourne, feels like a world away. This charming stone cottage is complete with an open fire, Bedouin Societe Linen, Pendleton Blankets, Aspar Body products and a breakfast hamper of locally sourced produce.

An incredibly cosy and relaxing spot for a weekend away. The cottage has everything you need and a very comfortable bed. The setting is idyllic and tranquil with the creek, perfect for a morning stroll with the dog. Make sure you head up the hill to see the sunset over the valley. We will most definitely be back!

Loved staying in this little one bedroom stone cottage. On a private property. You only need to take yourself & personal belongings & extra food as it's self catering except for breakfast we had a lovely pkt of crumpets ,marmalade & great selection of Tea & coffee . Will be going back hopefully one day soon .

What a beautiful place.The house and the surrounds exceeded our expectations and was everything we were looking for.It was simply stunning. It was the perfect little hideaway for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cottage was so cosy with the open fire. We had ordered heat-and-eat catering, along with a local picnic box, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a good-sized fridge. It was magical to be somewhere so comfortable and quiet, and away from the hustle and bustle.

Ellerslie cottage was an absolute dream. Just 15 min drive from Kyneton, you are led down a windy road into the cutest bluestone cottage styled with the best homewares and furniture. You are disconnected from the world but doesn't matter because you have a fridge full of local produce, good books, a fire pit if it's chilly and a big lounge room for relaxing (also there still is wifi if you do want to check that email or watch a movie). Can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful stone cottage with everything you need for the perfect getaway.Positioned in a great location, with an array of birds and other wildlife.Well located to explore the wineries in and around Heathcote and other towns (Kyneton, Woodend, Mount Macedon and more).Extremely peaceful, tranquil and perfect way to switch off.

Lovely cottage that is perfect to escape the city and enjoy the wonders of nature. Beautiful location that leaves you feeling rested and relaxed while you boil the billie on the firepit and listen to the bubbling brook. Inside is warm and comfortable with beautiful linen, functional kitchen, Aspar products and a wonderful fire to watch as you drink a glass of local red. Have already booked another stay, thank you for an amazing week.
