I went with Katherine Lawson to rent my substantial inner city home. I was a bit concerned that it was priced a little high but Katherine said she had done her homework and the price was right. So I trusted Katherine and left her to it. Less than two weeks into the campaign I’ve just signed up someone who seems like my dream tenant - stable, reliable and cooperative (I’ll offer the same in return as a landlord! It’s a two way street). Really happy with the outcome for the initial process of finding a tenant; I’ll post again in six months or so about how I’m finding the ongoing management. So far so good. She is very good in her job, she is thorough, knowlegeable, with initiative, with good contacts, she keeps you in the loop, easy to contact her and she listens. The previous agent: very difficult to reach, not transparent, all the time after them to know what was going on, after 3 weeks (3 weeks!) we just got potential tenants that were not suitable and the solution for them was to reduce the rent... Big difference between the 3 lines the previous agency wrote in the rental ad compared to the well described text Katherine provided. I absolutely recommend her.
