Epichealth Yarra Glen (Previously Valley Primary Health Centre)

Dr looked over my medication list, I had evidence of medications, didn’t ask me what I was on it for, when it had been prescribed, who had prescribed it. Instead I was told that I might be able to stay on one medication despite the fact that specialists in two different fields had prescribed the bulk of it and I had already been accepted into a pain clinic. Treated me aggressively like a drug seeker, asked for my medical record from my previous GP when I hadn’t even decided if I wanted to stay with her AND I don’t have a copy of my medical records. That’s from my original GP to have. Walked out of the appointment when they started telling me that none of my pain regime actually works for one diagnosis. I left feeling very small, frustrated and honestly disgusted that I am STILL being treated this way despite the spotlight chronic pain has had in the public eye recently. Do not recommend.

Good service but ive just spent an hour doing a medicare rebate at home after visiting for a migraine. Seriously its really worth getting your doctors set up for medicare to save patients ongoing headaches after they visit you.

They keep no records. Dont even record that my wife has had a miscarriage after 3 doctors appointments and a set of bloods taken! Loose blood results of our new pregnancy! Its an absolute scrambles with a very poor attention to detail. Good for nothing

The doctors are really caring and thorough. They always take the time to listen and there is no gap payment for children. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Generally a good practice, but they need to tighten up their procedures when the doctor is away ill and patients are awaiting results from the 3rd party providers. The GP i saw sent me for Xrays for a potential broken ankle, he advised Imed would advise of the results then and there and they didnt. GP was away the following day ill, the receptionist was quite short with me and told me it would be two days before I could get in again or go to emergency.... rang imed lilydale and they wouldn't give me the results, rang the clinic again and the receptionist was a bit more helpful and said the results weren't in..... rang imed again and they advised that the results had been sent... rang the clinic again and they found the results in the doctors email inbox....... now still waiting for a gp to ring me with results

Ryan CarruthersPhysiotherapist , has been treating me after my TKRSAnd before, he is encouraging, positive and educational, always teaching me about my recovery and at what stage I am at , what to expect as well as providing excellent therapy for my knee, I highly recommend him.

Saw Dr Hamed today, as a one off as visiting from Perth. All positive reviews about him are absolutely correct. Would not hesitate seeing him again if we had to.

Dr. Safari wasn’t helpful at all, referred me to a different clinic without the minimal requirements needed for them to approve me. If it wasn’t because I called, I would still be waiting to hear back from them.

The service, care and treatment I have received here has been unparalleled. I drive 35 - 40 minutes to see my GP here. It's worth it. I couldn't recommend this surgery more. The best.
