The Church at Barrington

Fantastic large couple's accommodation. Beautifully renovated former church with modern kitchen, dishwasher, 2 underbench fridges (not much frozen storage), oven and gas cooktop, washing machine, drier, covered back verrandah couch, Ziggy BBQ. Tons of kitchen utensils. So light and spaceous. TV, bluetooth soundbar and fast WiFi. 5 min drive to Gloucester with easy parking. Large colourful rose garden (trees will look great when they grow). No steps from road to accommodation, large shower. Building is stunning inside with frosted windows casting warm light. Although close to road, no traffic at night, and mostly sounds of birds, crickets and roosters in the distance. Highly recommended after 3 night stay.

A quaint beautiful place to spend time together as a couple. Waking up to the sound of nature is a bonus. The owner has thought of everything when renovating the church. Kitchen is awesome with many items and equipment to make your stay comfortable. Bed is extremely comfortable. Having a washing machine and dryer is great. The church garden is magnificently maintained. Thank you for sharing the church and it's gardens.

This place is amazing. The owner has thought of everything. The place was extremely clean and so well fired out. The gardens are well thought out with nice herb garden. It is so quiet on an evening.

True luxurious experience. Great property. Well designed accommodation. Full kitchen with great appliances. Luxurious big bed, linen, towels. Tv and the sound system. Lighting featuring artwork, kitchen, all inside and outside of the church. Bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Fast and continuously reliable WiFi. Patio with barbecue. Garden, roses and herbs. Birds and rural feel while close to shops and Gloucester. Value for money. Exceeded all expectations.

This concerted church has been renovated to bring it into the 21st century but it has retained all of its character. The attention to detail is commendable - the appliances & furnishings are high end. They have even commissioned artwork especially for the space. The bathroom & verandah have been added so are great size. We loved sitting on the deck, listening to the birds & looking down the rose lined corridor to the Celtic cross. They even provide a bocce court & putting space. The 1 drawback is the truck noise early in the morning.

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful place to stay. Fully self contained church converted into a luxury unit. Has everything that opens and closes plus,plus plus. Tea and coffee making facilities. Sit out on the back deck and take in the beautiful bird life that come in to be fed while having a BBQ. Please don’t forget the birdseed. Luxury Accommodation at its best. I urge anyone who is in the Barrington area for a holiday to stay here weather for one night or one week.
