Perseverance Dam Rest Area
Nicely kept day use area overlooking the rather empty lake (23% - Nov 21). Boaties are still able to launch and use the waterway. Nice road to take towards Crows Nest after stopping in at Lake Cressbrook only a few kilometres away. No water or rubbish disposal available here.

Pretty place to camp but no access to the water for a swim. Only local club has the monopoly on access for skiing. No dogs. No point going back.

The place was lovely but if you have any rubbish be prepared to take it home as Toowoomba Regional Council has removed the bins...swings were great bbq there and toilets..I am local and found it peaceful with feathered friend lunch guests

Nice for camping or picnics. Unfortunately at present it is dry and lake is only part capacity.
