This is a great place to feel free and get relaxed. The sound of the waves is majestic. You can spend a lot of time here without notice. The parking lot is easy to access and very spacious with great views. I really loved this place it is amazing. Have fun, enjoy this place and keep it clean.

Loved it! We took a halt here to view the sunset. The beach just goes on and on and on. It was cloudy that day and we couldn't see the sun set. It was high tide in the evening and the current is really strong. Best to maintain a safe distance unless you are a pro- swimmer.

Interesting beach with some rocky shoreline and some sand on the day I went. The swell was about 2m and 20+knot onshore winds so there were only a few visitors. The water was surprisingly warm and I can see why it would be popular on a hot day

Very clean beach! Great to take stroll as there isn't many people. The carpark overlook the beach so you can catch the sunset from your car.The waves here are strong so it's perfect for surfing. It's also calming to watch the waves and water receding back along the shore.

A beautiful beach. Great place for a walk and a lot quieter than the other side, as not many tourists here. Probably wouldn't go for a swim though, as the waves looked pretty dangerous!

Good surf beach quite steep so can be dangerous when the sea is rough and sometimes when it isn't,A good spot to get sunset photos. Would be great for a picnic on a nice day.

1st time coming here to check out sunset and I was totally blown away by the views. Super stunning!!! We came to Mornington Peninsula for a weekend getaway short trip and found this mind blowing Rye Ocean Beach at perfect timing....We came during Sunset and totally we were blown away by the view......Best beach here in Melbourne.....Highly recommended......
