Hog's Breath Cafe Rockhampton
Steak was cooked to medium rare as requested, seasoned well, and juicy. Curly fries were very good. The mac and cheese was not very good, the cheese sort of tasted like chemicals, it might have just been that batch though. Service was very good and we were not waiting for long. I enjoyed my food.

Had a great dinner here last night, kids meals were huge, my partner and I had a prime rib steak each. Food was great and service was as well. Prices very expensive, if it was a bit cheaper we would go more often but at this price it’s a once a year visit. $180 for dinner for 2 adults and 3 kids under 7.

I have dined here about two or three times now and Hog's Breath never seems to disappoint me. The service is always really good and the food comes out very quickly. The waiters and waitresses are super friendly. The food, is really yummy in my opinion. I always go for the hickory bbq prime rib steak and it's always cooked well and how I ask for it to be cooked. I always leave feeling super satisfied and very full! It's a great venue if you're looking for somewhere special to have dinner like a birthday or family celebration.

Travelling for work in Rockhampton. On my own. Went into Hogs Breath and had a very enjoyable dinner .. Salmon, mash and salad. Fantastic. Nice friendly atmosphere. Thanks guys. Grandkids will like the private area you have for the kids

Staff are friendly and agreed to let us change tables after already being seated and offered suggestions on the menu. It was quiet when we got there so meals came out very quickly. Food was fairly average when compared to other steak orientated places we've been but wasn't bad. The portion size was a little on the small side across the three meals we ordered, that would be the only shortcoming of the visit otherwise it was a good experience.

Minimum wait to be seated at lunch and as regular to any Hogs Breath we already knew our order.Unfortunately at this store we could not order straight away but made to wait our turn as per guest arrival. Found this to be very annoying as those people were still making up their minds so we couldn't even order a drink while waiting unless you walked up to the bar.Food wasn't bad - no sweet mash potato on menu and the barramundi I had this time still had scales left on it.Definitely left disappointed however they had a good crowd this day.

They where out of steak when we went there last but our meals where nice that we did ordered.Picture of my beef brisket and mash with onion rings and gravy on the side with a caeser salad( had no egg or croutons)My partner got the double beef and bacon burger AMD was happy with it.

The food was great and the staff was very pleaent however the Menu is very deceiving and not very well explained by the waiter staff. I'm not sure if I would go back.

We to dinner on Saturday night for a 13th bday party. 19 people in total, mixture of young children 13yr to 10 months old and adults. Was also the first time our family had all been together in 12 years. Appertiser were not delivered for all, missed a couple of orders. 3 hours to receive main meal for dinner. Main meals were terrible quality not to mention, not one order was what was ordered. Kids were extremely tired, parents were trying to juggle tired and cranky children. Atmosphere for the 13 year old party, tried to remain upbeat, but everyone was over waiting, trying to mind children who were over it.Terrible service, with terrible food.Definitely would not return or hold a birthday there.We were not the only table waiting long periods of time.Manager was called, tried to apologise and make it better. Nothing can actually make up for the poor service, massive delay in getting meals.Won't be back.
