Goodstart Early Learning

I feel like my son has been discriminated against in this centre. I have tried to get him into the centre for a few months now and they have let many other children in except for mine. I spoke to head office which advised the centre had openings availableo for my son's age but then when we went in for the booked tour, and they saw my son, the director advised there was no availability. Now I have called again and head office again advised they could see there was availability on Mondays and Fridays but when I spoke to the director again she saw it was my son and advised they are now overbooked". She then proceeded to advise that they have let 12 other children in this year although my son was on the waiting list. I don't understand why this is happening or why she has chosen to not let my son in but I will definitely not be recommending this centre as we feel completely discriminated against."

We started our daughter in this Centre when she was 4 months and we love how it works as and feels like a big family. The staff go to lengths to get to know her, meet her developmental needs and look after her well-being. She's still just a baby but we can see that she certainly feels like she's loved by the staff and gets excited whenever she sees us packing her daycare bag in the morning as she knows she'll be going there on that day. As she is a baby who is very active, social and needs constant stimulation, the Centre has provided her the environment and community that we ourselves would not be able to.

I can't speak highly enough about this daycare centre. I have had 2 children attend and both have loved their time Goodstart Kensington. The educators are amazing and they deliver excellent play based learning programs for the children. Every staff member has a genuine passion for children and there is a low staff turnover. The centre is clean and is a pleasant environment with good outdoor play facilities, comfortable rooms and rest and relaxation areas. The centre also gets involved in the wider community by participating in events such as crazy hair day, naidoc week, ANZAC day and many more. Overall this centre provides a caring and enriching environment for children and I would highly recommend It.

Great staff, great programs. Reasonable price. Easy parking for drop off and pick up. And a small playground across the road for an after day care play.

We have been so happy with Goodstart Kensington - from the teachers to the admin staff who have always been so easy to deal with and so accommodating. My kids loved their time there and we could not have asked for more than what was provided.My kids had such a great experience the whole way through Goodstart Kensington from nursery to pre-school; everyone of the teachers are caring and are fantastic at teaching.

We absolutely loved our experience at Goodstart Kensington. All of the educators have such a kind, caring approach and really did become part of our family. The daily activities were always fun, engaging and intentional. They were well communicated via Story Park which meant we could extend these learnings at home. The centre is well resourced and has a beautiful homely feel to it. An exception centre that I would highly recommend to families looking for care.

Lack of supervision, too many kids, child was injured numerous times and when one injury was serious (bleeding), I pulled my child out. Not good for young children unable to fend for themselves. Kids everywhere with mucus coming out, not cleaned and jumper pulled over wet clothes without caring about the cold that the wet clothes causes.

The staffs are experienced, patient and kind. They are helpful and gives meaningful feedback of kids daily activities. The centre is always maintained clean and spacious. Detailed daily schedule is mostly provided. The only drawback, although the fee is quite similar around the suburb, they are not cheap. Nevertheless, I recommend this centre for parents looking for reliable daycare

My son enjoyed his stay in Goodstart very much. He built strong connections with his educators, and played well with the kids. The environment of the centre is really good, educators in nursery room are really caring.
