Barratts Coin Operated Laundry
$2 gets you 4 minutes in dryer. Be prepared to spend $12 bucks for a small load.Should have an actual timer. Signs are misleading (says $4-$6 for average load), yeah right if you want to wear wet clothes maybe.Expensive and no contact number.In answer to your unprofessional comment, no I did not overload the dryer. As per original comment it was a small load. Easier for you to reply with rubbish yet no real customer service.

Had woollen queen mattress cover and oldish feather down doona cleaned. Did a great job and made a lot of effort to clean a large, deep ink stain. Reasonable cost. Very happy with the friendly, professional service.

Half the washing machines were out of order. The one I used (third from the left top loader) didn’t seem to be spinning either as my clothes came out saturated. $8 or $9 for a wash is much more than other laundromats I’ve been to, especially considering it didn’t work properly.

Nice and clean. Everything is cheap, top loader washing machines are $6 and dryers are $1 for something like 5-10 mins. Only take $1 coins though, but will definitely come here again if I need to :)

While on holidays in Newcastle, we found this gem of a laundromat. Used the wash dry fold service. They were quick. Great chat with the helpful and friendly staff too. Plus Pinball machines! 5 stars

Barratts Coin Operated Laundry
Cheap and convenient as the dryers are huge. But the machines are quite old so sometimes their dryers don't work and there are often no signs saying which ones. I've paid for several dryers that didn't work and wouldn't give the money back. When they work, they work really well. But it's a gamble.

A bit disappointed two of the front load machine were out of order. I got their at 7.30 in the morning two of the machine were being used, so that left me with one machine. I took all my doonas to wash and a king size coverlet which I didn't end up washing because the extra large machine wasn't working. When I pulled my first doona out their was a handkerchief which was ours. Not a great experience.

First time I used here.The owner is very nice and kind.4 top loaders -> 6 dollars each4 front loaders -> 7 dollars each5 dryers -> 1 dollar for 4 minutes.Accept Only Coins.Customers can get change around the shop.

Only ever use the place for the dryers - it is conveniently located and normally clean but that is about it for the positives.Normally there are machines out of order, they are rather pricey and the last few times I’ve been there the machine has taken the money and then cut out shortly thereafter. I witnessed one punter (and I use that term deliberately as it is a gamble) feed $5 in to one dryer only to have it quit shortly thereafter. There is no contact number to complain.Try elsewhere would be my advice.

Great clean place, machines easy to use.The washing machines only take $1 coins and you need 6 of them.The one thing I would recommend is that the place needs signage on how to use machines and how much they are. I looked on google for other reviews to see how much they were.But other than that great experience and will definitely go back!.
