Laser Clinics Australia - Sydney CBD (George St)

Hello,I’ve had laser hair here for years! I love the clinic, Shauna does my treatments she does a beautiful job.I came in last Saturday to have this done again with Mel or Kel (sorry I forget), think the branch leader.The machine wouldn’t work, we tried & I completely understood! It happens.Booked in today, trekked from the Eastern Suburbs, only to be told no appointment booked. I confirmed this twice last week, once with Mel and another time with another lady.In response to me asking how this happened and that this was the 2nd time I couldn’t be seen was told sorry. No understanding about my frustration - just a sorry from behind the desk. No efforts to see if alternative method available at other laser clinics etc.I felt like I was made to feel unreasonable for what happened.I’ve booked in with Shauna now when she’s back. But honestly, so disappointed!!!I wanted to add an amendment after writing this I was contacted by the lady that runs the region & she was very apologetic. So that was nice to hear & was appreciated.

If I could give zero stars I would.I attended one booking of my package and all was fine.My second round came 28 April and I confirmed via the confirmation text and headed into the city from where I live out west which took 40 min.Arrive to my appointment and the receptionist welcomed me and told me to take a seat. After a few moments, she came around to me and said “idk if anyone has called or emailed you but our laser machine hasn’t been working for a week and it will take 2 months to fix”.I wasn’t offered an apology or any time frame to reschedule. She was really young and I get it these things can happen. She said her manager would be in touch in a week. I waited a week and no one contacted me or followed up.I decided to go into the clinic myself and spoke with a women there that had no idea what to do and again, could not speak with a manager. At this point I was quite frustrated.Their solution was that they would ask the Westfield clinic to take me on whilst they wait for repairs and they will ask their manager to contact me.I waited. I decided to send an email to Head Office on 2 June complaining about the service and lack of customer support. To which I received a generic reply on 5 June saying it was passed onto the clinics management team and someone would be in contact.It is now 16 June with no response or outcome. I have emailed today and asked for a refund to go elsewhere.How embarrassing.

The first and second time i went there, the laser was too painful but the staff was okayish. But the last time i went there i was just five minutes late as I had to take the bus to the clinic and it was so so busy and they said they can’t do my treatment. I asked that I can wait till you get time in between the appointments to do it for me and that rude lady totally refused me and she was really really rude to me. I wish if could i ask her what her name was but I got so frustrated that I left the clinic saying okay I will rebook. If I wouldn’t have paid in advance… I would never go to that place again. Pathetic experience!

While the treatments are efficient and affordable, I would advise people to consider other clinics within the same brand before committing to this one. The management of these clinics seems to be separate, resulting in varying levels of service quality.In comparison to my own experience and the feedback I received from friends who have visited other clinics, this particular location lacks flexibility, responsiveness, and a welcoming atmosphere.Some clinics generously offer the option to use your credit for various treatments and products, providing a safety net if you change your mind or find yourself running out of time. Certain clinics go the extra mile by offering razors or extras for regular laser clients if the need comes up. These small gestures make a significant difference and contribute to a more positive overall experience.Considering the mixed quality of service across the brand's clinics, I would recommend exploring alternative options.

Extremely unhelpful staff and new store manager (Alison). I was given misleading information about expire treatments. In January I was asked to reach out to the previous manager in regards to my expire treatments which I’ve being doing and only today (begging of March) have been turned down in extending these treatments I already paid for and was unable to get done due to being overseas for an extended period. Extremely disappointed!

love this place. i had laser for hair removal with Vira. she is the best one because she has high attention to details. and its so easy to chat with her (distracting me from the pain). and whenever i had pain, she always be attentive and asked if she needed to put down the intensity.

Very poor communication. After my sessions definitely will not return. I ran late 10minutes for my appointment, called in twice in the morning to let them know. No-one answered the phone both times, I left voicemail with a number to call, no response. When I arrive there we're 2 staff members in the reception area. It really doesn't take much to call someone back. Unless I'm mistaken?Arrived at 10:40, the laser technician said as we don't have the full 20 minutes, we could do a partial parts, which was an awesome alternative! The technician then proceeded to take 7minutes rebooking me. She then says sorry time is too late I cannot see you today.......no urgency to think ok let's organise this after the treatment is done.As previously mentioned will absolutely not be returning to this clinic

Hi it’s Valentina, been going to Laser Clinic in George st since years, where I have always found the best team and super qualified staff. Always welcoming customers and all the girls at the reception are always professional and available to help every request.Dr. Jessica takes care of me and my injections, she's the best ever, if you're looking for a natural fresh look that's exactly what you get, her professionalism and skills is wonderful. My wrinkles over the years have faded and almost disappeared thanks to her services and my lips have taken on a wonderful shape modeled by her.Every time i leave the clinic i am always happy and confident with the best services ever. Highly recommended!

In short, I was misled about the price of a service, and then intimidated and threatened into paying double the amount I was quoted following the service.I called Laser Clinics Australia (‘LCA’) at George Street Sydney CBD on 27/02/2023 to book a laser hair removal service as I had seen an advertisement for “50% off your first treatment” on their website. The representative I spoke to on the phone booked in my treatment and confirmed that I would be paying $189.99 for my treatment, which is 50% off the full price of my treatment as advertised on the LCA website. I booked a women’s full body laser hair removal treatment for 06/03/2023 , which was subsequently rescheduled to 5.45pm 13/03/2023.Upon conclusion of my laser treatment service on 13/03/2023, I was asked to pay $379.99 which is double the amount I was quoted on the phone. I told the representative at the desk that I should only be charged $189.99 as this is what I was quoted upon booking the service. The representative refused, and said I must pay $379.99 for the service as their service excludes the 50% off promotion for ‘full body’ laser treatments. The representative at the counter also told me that she and her employees had only been working at LCA George Street for a week and could not follow-through on any price that was quoted to me given a change in management. I am uncertain on whether she was telling the truth on this.I told the representative that whilst this might be their policy, it is still unacceptable and misleading as I was quoted a certain price (50% less) on the phone when booking the service, and would not have booked if I had known that the treatment would cost as high as $380. I usually attend other laser clinics and pay between $170 and $200 for the same treatment, so there is no incentive for me to attend LCA George Street and get charged double. I maintained that I should pay the price I was quoted for the service and should not be paying more .Following this, the representative threated me and told me I must pay $379.99 immediately or she will call the police. She raised her voice and asked me for my driver’s license and said I would be arrested immediately. She said that I can bring up any problems with authorities at the police station, and that unless I paid $379.99 immediately I will soon be arrested. I pleaded with her to be understanding of my situation, however she refused and forced me to pay $379.99. This was an extremely distressing encounter and I feel very jarred after being forced to pay a sum that I did not agree to. As I did not want any trouble and felt threatened, I paid the sum of $379.99 and the representative at the desk told me to email LCA if I have any issues with it.I don’t think it is ethical or honest to quote someone a price for a basic service over the phone, and then force them to pay double upon delivery of the service.I feel mislead and threatened. I am now out of pocket and need to cut back on my grocery budget for the week, as I was forced to pay an amount that I am uncomfortable with and is out of my budget.In addition to above, I must add that the facilities at LCA George Street were very unclean (hair, dust, dead insect on floor of treatment room + unclean bathroom), which I believe is quite unhygienic for a Laser Clinic Environment.
