He’s a one man band mechanic. Takes on more work than he can handle & leaves cars sit in his yard picking & choosing what he feels like working on. Bad experience, lied to, won’t answer phone or emails. Wanted brakes bled, 3 days not even looked at & I took it away. Takes on cars says he will garage it but leaves it in weather even when knowing it has leaks leaves cars in a public accessible yard. Beware of lies, he tells you what you want to hear & I’m sure he has got friends or family to write his other 5 reviews.

I get a road worthy inspection from here on my trail bike. Shane the mechanic seemed really experienced and was really pleasant to deal with. The inspection was pretty quick and the things he picked up to fix were reasonable. I'd be happy to go back again if need be.

December 2020 - This Business is under new ownership - Same location, same phone, but now called 'Oliver Automotives'. Jarvis helped me out with what turned out to be a minor issue, slipped me in between jobs, cost him 15 minutes of his time but refused any payment. What a great bloke. If you want to know what people think of his work google the new business name and check out the fantastic reviews like Best Mechanic in the Yarra Valley""
