Best gym for kids and adults to learn Krav Maga self defence skills. My son is enjoying each and every class here with Dave and team. Along with self defence skills he is also learning much needed situational awareness and respecting others. We are very happy about our son’s improvement in these skills and highly recommend other parents.

The staff at Krav Maga Australia are highly skilled, helpful, and supportive. Techniques are taught in an easy to understand way, with explanations given wherever needed. Classes are well attended, the pace is set to suit all ability levels. You get an excellent workout in addition to learning highly applicable skills right from the start. I felt safer, and more confident in my ability to defend myself from day one. Excellent value for money as well as time, and effort.

I had wanted to start Krav Maga for such a long time, and finally, I did! All I can say is I'm so glad I chose this dojo and have absolutely no regrets. The vibe on the mats is so warm and welcoming, and while it is a relaxed environment where laughs are often shared, it is also a professional learning space where self defence is taken very seriously. It is clear to see that Dave and the other instructors put their hearts and souls into training and educating the students, and they are so respectful and helpful towards every person - on and off the mats. KMA definitely has an 'egos are left at the door' experience, and I can't wait to spend many years training here. I'm new, but am already seeing the mental and physical benefits thanks to this dojo. I can't speak highly enough about Krav Maga Australia. My daughter joined the kids online class throughout covid. Dave, her instructor, made her feel welcome and capable from the beginning. I saw the benefits in my daughter immediately. Aside from the skills she learned, she gained a huge amount of confidence while having fun. She has always participated in a number of activities but this is by far her favourite class and with her favourite teacher. She loved having Dave as her instructor and if it wasn't for the fact that we live on the other side of town, she would be participating every opportunity she would get. Dave creates a respectful and considerate environment that engages the children whilst ensuring they are comfortable in what they are doing, encourages them to be themselves and teaches them skills they can benefit from in life (aside from just the obvious skills of self defence).Although very sad that we can't continue with face to face classs, I am extremely grateful my daughter had the opportunity to attend the online classes.I would highly recommend Krav Maga Australia.

Fantastic place to learn Krav Maga! Our son absolutely enjoys every lesson. He is very comfortable and loves the environment. The best instructors; clear in their teachings, kind & welcoming and they don’t let any silly behaviour happen in their sessions. They are very safety conscious and very respectful at all times- they receive this in return too. Would highly recommend to anyone that is considering to learn Krav.

Defiantly the most practical and effective martial art training centre in Melbourne.The trainer is a true professional with a long Krav Maga training history and uses for practice a real life situations. I am working in the security industry at a busy CBD nightclub, over the years I been exposed to many different kind of attacks toward me. Thanks for the knowledge and self defence techniques I gained while training Krav Maga I was able to neutralize the attackers and prevents injuries for myself and others with the use of minimal force only.
