***Update***After this place has been taken over with new owners what a bloody great difference , new owners are fantastic and have the best customer service and very friendly and welcomingStore is looking better and better every time I pop inWell done guys keep up the good work***old owners***I often go to this store to support the business, every time I have stepped foot in the door I’m always greeting with the most rudest sour older ladyShe has the worst customer service I’ve ever come across this lady should not be on the front tills with the attitude she has it’s very clear that she needs to retire because all she’s doing is running the business down and giving it a bad nameI went in last week to support them got the sour lady she waited for me to purchase items before having a go at me due to that I will never step foot in your store again you can kiss this money goodbye! Can’t speak for others bad reviews butThe older fella (husband) has always been great and welcomes me into the store and has a good yarn not once has he ever been rude to meMy recommendations would be The wife needs to learn customer service from her husband if she can’t do that then she needs customer service training asap, once she learns proper customer service the business would thrive

Both older man and woman were very rude. The man was particularly arrogant. There was hardly anything on the shelves. I wouldn't bother going there again. Not sure why people own a customer-focused type of business if they clearly hate customers.

Since taking new ownership Scarness Foodworks has certainly upped their game! Fresh produce, stocked shelving and a whole new vibe about the place. Prices are great and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Stoked to finally have a corner store that I can actually go to with certainty that their products are fresh! 10/10 recommend!

Popped in searching for spice. New owner very helpful and keen to bring new lines to the store. Great fresh ideas and a real desire to update the store.

New owners have cleaned up the place. Seem to be still stocking the shelves as some were quite bare. I bought some hot takeaway chicken pieces. Thay were nice enough for the very reasonable price. Pri es of grocery items did not seem to bad from what I saw, but I was only looki g around a little while my chicken cooked.

I thought I would buy local so went into food works scarness for a few things for dinner. The gentleman was nice, the store was reasonable clean. I brought some frozen chips to have with dinner. OMG I will never go there again! I opened the packet and the chips were rotten, I couldn’t believe it what a waste, I threw them out! Think I will stick to the larger food stores like Coles and Safeway. Absolutely disgusting!!!

We've been down to the store many times now since the new owners took over. The shop is very clean, staff are very friendly & more stock on the shelves. We'll definitely be back :)
