Hired 2 bikes for my wife and I. The guide whose name was Pete, was friendly and very thorough when explaining bike use and the rules when riding on the island (he actually came back on the afternoon ferry with us and told us the best places to grab a bite to eat and a drink in Triabunna).I thought the bikes were good value. They were easy to ride and operate, and were great for just a day trip, as you were able to cover more of the island and see more things than you could on foot.

This operator was so rude and disrespectful and considering it was our first greeting to beautiful Maria Island it was such a disappointment. The man renting out the bikes was truly awful and shouldn’t be working in anything to do with people. Encounter Maria are the ones who parter with this company to hire out bikes on the island and should truly reconsider. Such a bad look for Tassie Tourism.
