Dr James Haslam is a fantastic, attentive skin specialist and doctor who not only has attention to detail but goes the extra mile to make sure all your needs are met in the consultation.He is a incredible addition to an amazing doctors surgery in Byron bay. Highly recommend !!

I had a pretty average experience coming in for a skin check. I was prompted by their booking system to come earlier (presumably because a longer time allocated is for this kind of appt?) but then the doctor was running 15mins late and my appointment only lasted 15mins. He recommended a biopsy but said there wouldn't be enough time to do it so I'll have to book in again and pay again to have that procedure done. To his credit, the doctor was thorough, but seemed a dismissive and a little defensive when I asked if we could just do the biopsy today...I was also left $60 out of pocket and am wondering if I actually paid for a longer consult/procedure that I did not receive.

I was very satisfied with my visit. Dr. Jo did an excellent job of checking my skin. I definitely recommend this medical practice to those who appreciate good quality care.

My first time at this clinic was great. No problem with using the online booking system. The doctor was great and it was easy to make followup appointments with the front desk who understood what needed to happen for the next appointment.

The doctors and staff at Bright Side clinic are always very welcoming and accommodating. We moved to the Byron Shire only several months ago and was looking for a reputable family doctor. So happy to have found such a considerate and professional team.

My wife and I were traveling from abroad and both became extremely ill. The staff was very accommodating and got us in to see Dr. Mouncey very quickly. His concern for us and his lovely bedside manner couldn't have been any better! We'll never forget being so sick far from home and so beautifully treated.

My visit was highly professional, and thorough. The doctor listened to my comments and clearly explained both the physical inspection, and the proposed nature of any further intervention. She also saw to my wishes regarding putting off invasive procedure till I was able to undertake it. I was totally happy with this visit.

I am a new patient at Bright Side, I have coke to Bright Side to follow my doctor, Doctor Carlota Cunha, I have never come across a doctor that cares so much for there patients and is willing to help them with the impossible. When going into Bright Side I was greeted with a beautiful smile from the lady at the front desk and I met a few other doctors/ nurses while in there, this would have to be the nicest doctors clinic I have been to and I am beyond happy that my doctor works there.Thank you for such amazing service

Can't recommend Bright Side more highly. If there were more stars I would give them. Such a positive experience, with the lovely, friendly reception staff....and Dr Joanna, so caring and thorough. She listened and made me feel really safe and well cared for. She offered alternatives and took the time to explain my options and the approach she was wanting to take. Having regular skin checks is so important and I will be telling EVERYONE to book in with Dr Joanna. Thank you!!!
