Prospect Clothing Alterations

I had a couple of pairs of trousers that needed the legs shortened. I'm very happy with the job. They were done within a few days.

Excellent, friendly and very speedy service. I had the cuffs and hems taken up on a new off-the-shelf suit. Very easy fitting process, faultless work and great fit - the suit was ready to pick up 4 hours later! Thanks!

I asked to have a zip inserted into my wedding dress and was told one could easily be hidden along the back seem. Went to collect it at the time arranged, two weeks later, and it wasn’t ready (and I got the distinct impression it had been forgotten). I was told to come back later that day, but couldn’t so had to return on the Monday. The dress had been fitted with a regular plastic zip with all the teeth visible and all the button details off centre. I went home and cried. The next day I returned with an INVISIBLE zipper that I’d had to purchase myself from spotlight and asked them to redo it- which they begrudgingly did. Obviously in a hurry, they smooshed all my buttons together instead of spacing them as they should be, so I spent the night before my wedding re-sewing them back on myself having paid $250 for someone else to do it. I only wish I could post the photos here. They clearly know how to sew, but I wouldn’t trust them with anything of value.

Have been meaning to write a review - have used this place quite a few times, and always super happy. I won't take my clothes anywhere else. Most of my repairs have been to some really expensive clothes, or delicate items (think Camilla or Zimmermann dresses) and they are always altered so perfectly. I cannot fault them. When I need clothing alterations I always bring them here. The ladies are very skilled and pleasant to deal with and the prices are fair. They know immediately what needs to be done and the service is excellent.

This is the place to go, I recently had a formal dress altered and to say that these 2 ladies went over and above is an understatement! I highly recommend them and their services, they come highly talented in what they do!

Staff were absolutely lovely and did such a great job at altering the neckline of a dress, and hemming another. And were able to do it last minute for me! Will definitely be coming back

Dropped two pairs of new suit trousers in at 10.00am to be be finished by 4.30pm as was playing golf and they did a perfect job. The two ladies in the shop were really helpful and would recommend highly - Cheers Adam

DEFINITELY recommend. They are the only place I trust with my clothes and only place I will go to from now on.100% the best place to get clothes altered. I took two outifts to get altered on a Monday and needed it done by Friday. They were able to get it done to perfection!I went to two different other places beforehand and they said they couldn’t alter my clothes because of the material but Prospect Alterations outdid themselves and were able to make the clothes fit me extra well.
