Authentic Hunan food. Some dishes are very spicy. The portions are quite generous too.

The most authentic Hunan food I’ve had outside of Hunan! Ordered different dishes in the past two visits there were all hits no misses. Perfect pair with the bar right next door. Will definitely go back and try more dishes!Highly recommend barramundi with two chilies, perfect rice dish.

Our favourites were the pork intestine chicken soup, the stir fried river shrimp, and the straw mushrooms.Most dishes are decently spicy, so be warned!

Food was amazing and the service was prompt. Highlight of the night was the tea tree mushroom pot! Definitely would come back again.

Really tasty and good quality! The chicken soup tastes just as the flavor of my husband’s childhood. Everything is pretty good. We will come back before long.

Worst ever!! The waitresses don’t even know which dishes for which table which is too ridiculous…We placed order on 19:01 and waited until 19:30 for nothing, no words, not even the plain rice and noodles.No waitress can figure out which dishes for which table as there’s no note came with dishes from kitchen. Some of waitress don’t even know what to do but stand for nothing.All dishes need to come to reception first for their boss to decide to go to which table which is way too unprofessional as the boss didn’t even know which table has been serviced and which has not been serviced.Example, the kitchen gave two bowls of plain rice to boss and the boss didn’t figure out what to do so he returned back to kitchen. I saw it and I told boss we ordered the rice and still waiting for it, he checked at least three time to find our ‘missing order’ and finally provided this rice with no smile, no service. I reminded him that we are also waiting for plain noodles, he responses with poker face ‘I can see it, ok?’ with not even sorry.This was one of our favorite Chinese restaurant during Covid but unfortunately all chef and manager have been replaced as the dishes are so disgusting right now.Soup with so many water, the tofu we ordered are not even fried which is way below their former standard. Fried pork only has 5 pieces of pork and a whole pepper…All dishes came around 19:35 except fried vegetable. We finished at 19:58 and was about to leave, then the most funny part…the fried vegetable came…after we finished all dishes…I told the boss we’ve already finished our dinner, he answered ‘where should I put this fried vegetable?’ I repeated ‘we are about to leave because we finished all dishes’ He pretended not listening and put the fried vegetable on our desk and left, without any sorry, again.We have to take away this fried vegetable and went to pay for this ‘wonderful’ dinner. We asked for our order before payment, refused by Waitress without surprise, told they can only let us see the order or receipt AFTER we pay for that.We forced to pay for the bill even we don’t know what we paid for. Upon checking, of course, they charged for takeaway box for $0.5.You can also see their dirty kitchen when you pay for the bill.We were not feeling well after this dinner, mentally and physically. Maybe we are not ready for these dirty dishes…We will not coming back to be sure!

Need a booking for sure, make sure you're game for very spicy food as they specialise in it! All dishes are sharing portions. Amazing taste and super hot (temperate) when they come out too. Hard to decide on what to order though if you don't have any knowledge on Chinese cuisine can be unexpected or hard to pick
