Pets 'R' Us

Traveling through the outback wit a dog presents special challenges not the least the problem of 1080 wild dog baits ...this poison is dropped by air and buried just under the surface where there are cows livestock or fences but not always there is this hidden death for your dog ... anyway l went here to check out muzzles for my Kelpie X collie ...there are a few but no way would my dog wear one he would go crazy trying to get it off...the lady who helped me was obviously an animal person and was more concerned about alternative methods of control than selling me something that would not work or compromise my dogs well being ...we talked about ticks Pavo and what l use for control which is nexguard spectra by the way...a long lead or a run lead was the consensus and plenty water and shade ...it's so hot at times these simple steps will keep your dog safe and happy...lots of attention helps heaps too..This place is fully stocked with treats goodies and essentials for your pet our family members ...pets r us is like your one stop shop for your best friend..5 stars ...

Don't bother.The customer service is ordinary at best.Went in to look at their birds but was closed off i asked if we could have a look and she said they can't because its raining why that makes any difference i don't know and if its over 38c you can't buy them. So if its cool and raining you can't see them and if its over 38 you can't buy them. Strange way to run a business.

The staff are knowledgeable about all their stock and animals, the store is clean and well stocked with essentials and some exotic native pets.

Super friendly and helpful staff. We went to the store for dried cow ears for our two dogs. We ended up getting really cool dog tags made for our dogs that they make with the aid of a computer. They also have a dog wash machine out front ($10/10 minutes. We managed to wash, rinse and blow dry our two dogs for $10)

Worst customer service ever. You will not see a single smile from the staff.The lady comes over to us and started suggesting head collar for our dog (which we never asked). Then she didn’t even asked for a permission and goes on to put head collar on my rottweiler (luckily my dog was friendly enough that he didn’t bite her). I asked her I’ll do it which she simply ignoredWe tried to avoid her as much as we could.But that did not stop her from coming back to us again. This time she grabbed the leash from my hand (which is unacceptable) and started telling me how to handle my dog. I did not go there to take lessons from her. She should refrain from doing that.This whole scenario made my dog really uncomfortable. I will not want my dog to be reactive to anything.We will not be going back to that shop ever again.

The girls at the desk were awesome... on the case of my query immediately... goods in hand and on my merry way...

Great place to access all pet requirments

I visited this store as my pet dog had issues with dry eyes. I was looking for eye drops.The owner was very knowledgeable and reassured me that it was not serious, and that her dogs, the same breed, were having the same issues.She could have sold me unnecessary medicine, but instead advices I cleaned the eyes with warm salty water.Worked a treat, thank you
