Coles; putting profit before customer service - guaranteed! No self service open, so customers have to waste their time queuing. There used to be enough staff to allow it to be open, but it seems cost cutting is more important than your time.And don't get me started about the range. It's the little supermarket that's just given up. If for some reason you have to go to Coles, head up to Woodend where there is double the range of Gisbourne.Go to as a last resort. Bring on Aldi.

Stores pretty much what you'd expect, but the staff let them down, quite rude... unless you're a regular it would seem.

Went to front counter on Saturday night at 8.23pm. Young scruffy Coles staff member looked at me, then walked out from behind serving area. I waited 8 minutes, then asked the boy who was working at self checkout if anyone was serving here. Response - L don't know, yeah should be. Then turned his back to me. Then a young girl walked in behind counter with a broken can of soft drink. Waited for her to clean up & dispose of can. Then she proceeded to serve me.Service was deplorable, won't be back

Lacks everything really. The staff aren’t the nicest bunch of people and they could possibly use training, in basically everything. I have also never witnessed checkout people operate so slow, in my entire life. Hot tip, use self check out.

It’s a good coles but lacks items some of the bigger stores have .Parking is becoming a real issue .A new larger store is required in my opinion.

What a rubbish store.1. Not big enough to support a growing area,2. Tiny carpark not fit for a small town let alone a growing area,3. Never enough staff so only ever one, maybe two checkouts open,4. Again, so poorly staffed that shelves are regularly not stocked with simple basics,5. Possible that this is supply chain issues however “fresh” fruit and veg is often very close to unsellable as it’s bruised, browning and wilting,Just not good enough. Better off driving 15 minutes to woodend coles, hard to believe they are both coles.
