Metung Hot Springs

Had a fantastic experience here. The staff we so friendly and welcoming. The hot springs and sauna were amazing and so relaxing. The glamping tents were so well done that i was overwhelmed with the attention to detail. The hot springs are finished, but the other experiences they have in the works gets me excited to come back and see it when its all completed.

A lovely day at the Hot Springs! We felt they were very peaceful and quiet (compared to Peninsula) however there are not many pools constructed yet, so less variety. The cafe lacked food options (particularly gluten free options) so we were grateful to be transported to Metung Country Club for lunch. It was beautiful.A lovely experience, we look forward to returning, and highly recommended!

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Metung Hot Springs during the King's Birthday weekend. The Glamping tents, complete with 2 delightful hot tub barrels on our private deck, were really well designed and most comfortable. The service from Adrian, Rachel, Georgia, Leanne and the team was very warm and hospitable. They all provided first class, friendly service, including at the impressive Country Club with delicious meals. The inclusive breakfasts were a real highlight as was the star gazing thermal pools perched on top of a picturesque hill. Highly recommended for a relaxing retreat in a beautiful and positive environment.

Pros: The experience was really one-of-a-kind. It was great glamping experience for me and my partner. Even if it’s still in it’s early stages, it is promising and we love the thought of having the spring water recycled for the Metung golf course. The team especially Jules and Arthur have been accommodating and courteous. From making the booking, reservation and checking-out, it was all hassle-free. Our hillside room was also pristine, clean and comfortable. We also loved the chocolates from Chocodence.Cons: Birds early in the morning. Even the earplugs wasn’t helpful. But I guess it only matters when you still want to sleep-in in the morning.Rooms for improvement: Would love to have more food options and varieties in the club. Also, if there could be some sort of rewards system especially for people who have been supportive during its early stages, it will make us want to come back and choose this over the other hot springs.

Enjoyed the experience here after a long drive. It's a bit unfair to compare a rural hot springs to that of a metropolitan peninsula one though, as I see here. Metung hot springs was discreet and enjoyable when we went, where we had each pool to ourselves and not shared with a dozen others like elsewhere, even in the early evening. Water taps were great and the staff were lovely. Thanks for making our experience enjoyable!

A beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon relaxing. We went on a colder semi wet day and it was perfect. The pools were so warm and inviting and the cloudy, gloomy day really set the mood. The pools and facility are stunning, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and water views. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back and try the glamping.

We attended the hot springs opening weekend and enjoyed our day here despite it being still under construction. We are local to the area and wanted to book again for tomorrow. During our first visit we were able to get changed and head off to the country club for lunch and then head back and bath again after which was lovely. I wanted to use a voucher and had to call due to not being able to book a voucher online. I asked the person I spoke to about leaving to dine again and was told that this is not part of their policy. I find that when they do not have great facilities yet and also charging $90 for the day it would be reasonable for us to leave and grab something lovely for lunch and then head back the bath again . We are disappointed we can not make a day out of it

Though it was still only stage 1 in completion (meaning there were a limited number of pools open), Metung Hot Springs more than made up for it with great views and very kind staff. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They worked hard to make the experience good for me. I would love to come again when the building is complete. I especially loved the facial - Donna was very professional and talented.

This place make very unpleasant memory for Metung area. I am big fan of morington hot spring. Maybe I expected too much for Metung hot spring.Staff are kind and clean amenities. But there are only 3 hot springs pool and sauna and cold plunge. Seriously? I assume that this kind of service should be free, not just trying to make money for construction fee.To be honest, there are about 30-40 spot to enjoy, but I feel like there are 100 people out there. I came to here to relax with my family, not like this terrible experience.If there are refund option available, my answer will be yes.

Great place with only a few springs as they build more. The top barrels and pools are lovely and the accomodayoob is great.Only thing I don't recommend is the grazing box as an add on, the complementary one in the room is enough and the additional one doesn't have much different items so a bit price for what it was.The staff are amazing and friendly.The coffee and breakfast was delicious.We had a great weekend away.
