Couldn't speak highly enough of our experience with Distinctive. We renovated an old house that inherently came with it's issues. No problems were too big and were easily resolved including matching old cornice, uneven walls/roofing beams... the list goes on. The finished work came up great and the trades were timely and efficient. Ben the managing supervisor kept us informed the whole way and met our unrealistic timeframes in the lead up to Christmas. Our experience with this company was a disappointing disaster, having waited 10 years to finally build on our dream block, our 380 sqm of ceilings were done atrociously  throughout our home. This also leaded to a 9 month building dispute with the builder and building commission being involved, until our ceilings were attempted to be rectified.Firstly when the ceilings were first done the workers could bairly speak English and were doing the job so rushed at 6pm on a sat afternoon, which made us think if they had even the appropriate visa's to work in AU. Along the way the ceilings were finished with all the joints showing and not even being flushed properly. Basically you can see lines and strips especially after it has been painted and the ceilings throughout our home were not even level. Even though areas have been touched up and redone, we were asked by the builder to change all our lighting, so that nothing shines up at the ceiling, which is ridiculous but we have had to do to minimise the lines and strips.I hope distinctive ceilings in canningvale have learnt from this situation and not to be tight asses with the amatuer ceilings fixers that they have hired in the past and secondly supervise the works completed by their organisation appropriately.We paid alot of money to build our home and we worked hard to finally build it, to have this encounter was devastating and now something we look at every day.Shame on you...
