Centenary Tower

Probably the highest point in Mt Gambier. The tower is at the top of a short steep hill. The view is marvellous.

The 360 degree views from the tower were worth the walk up the steep hill. It was amazing standing at the top of the hill overlooking the town.I would loved to have been able to go into the tower to take a look. Hopefully next time it may be open.

The views from here are great! The hike is about 15 mins straight up. The tower is currently closed due to recent fires in the surrounding area, but still lots of good views.

Amazing views, absolutely funking walk up, steapest slope I've ever walked, I'm not fit but walk around 7000 steps a day, I had to sit and recoup about 8 times on the walk up and there are some benches but not enough allow plenty of time to get up and down took 40mins to get to the top, tower itself not open but no big deal, panoramic views from the base anyway

Wow amazing. My amazement at the steepness and exposure did not cease. I have been amazed since 1800 when this tourist destination was built.
