The Garden Burees of Byron Bay

In a great location in Byron Bay this hideaway feels like it's in the middle of the jungle. It has an amazing peaceful vibe. Staying in Dragonfly's Rest the ambiance of the outdoor tub was delightful. Would highly recommend recharging here. - Ricky Glaser

Private, serene and lush gardens filled with friendly water dragons and lizards were the finishing touches to an already incredible location. Abbey and Elise were wonderful and very understanding and supplied us with everything we needed for our stay. The room was very private including the fantastic outdoor shower amongst the gardens, and fitted w a kitchenette and everything you would need to make a quick meal, so there’s no need to leave the property (and you won’t want to either!)

Beautiful surroundings amidst wildlife and serene tropical forest. Waking up to the chirping of birds was a delight. The staff were very warm and friendly.Peggy and Isabella took care of all our needs. Quick feedback the property needs some maintenance, TV was not working and the curtains need dusting, the kitchen cabinets need cleaning as well. Everything else was comfortable.

Partner surprised me with a weekend away here. Absolutely gorgeous accomodation with tranquil touches that made you feel like you were worlds away from the main strip of Byron - even though it was a quick 10 minute walk from the Main Street. Bathroom was gorgeous with spa and outdoor shower. Lots of beautiful wildlife. Loved the sound of the water feature outside.We met Abbie who was so friendly, helped us organise bike hire and kindly extended our check out.Would highly recommend this accomodation!

Unbelievable hotel in Byron Bay. You feel so immersed in the experience with an outdoor shower and jet stream bath. The staff were super friendly/helpful and they have bikes you can rent from the reception. I would definitely come again

An amazing experience! The staff is very kind and helpful. The place itself makes you feel like you just entered paradise ! Our place had an outside shower which we loved. The beds are very comfy. I recommend this place for everyone.

Absolute five star review for us, we booked our stay at Garden Burees three years ago and it was cancelled twice: once when we all caught Covid and again when Byron flooded but the unbelievably kind owners let us keep our booking so we finally got to experience this fabulous place. We stayed in the Birdsong Hideaway as a family and it was just perfect for our group. Comfortable rooms and a great amount of shared space for hanging out. Being able to self cater really helped to keep our holiday affordable. Even though the Hideaway backs onto a campground, we found it to be perfectly quiet at night. Abby on reception was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!Location is fantastic, just a short walk to town and the main beach. If you stay on a Saturday, don’t miss the twilight markets in Railway Park, just five minutes up the road.

I’ve been privileged enough to stay at the Garden Burees in Byron Bay and had an excellent stay.Gorgeous buildings and gardens, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in.The attention to detail is outstanding, and you will have everything you need for a perfect stay and more.The water features in the gardens are magnificent, and the outdoor shower and indoor spa bath give you the opportunity to relax and have a romantic evening.The location is perfect for those who want to be close to town and the beautiful beaches( only a few minutes walks ) and still want to enjoy and peaceful quiet night.The staff at this property are all great! They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Thank you so much.

Loved our room, once we figured out air con was split system for heat lol. Easy walk to town, saving the $4 per hour parking fees! Extra touches in room so nice, coffee and biscuits for arrival. Studio is perfect size and had everything we needed to cook meals. Enjoyed very much.
