This has been the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a tradesman. I picked Kurt as he had such good reviews and seemed very competent. We had arranged a date a time, then 30 mins before he was supposed to arrive he had his first family emergency and was unable to make it. We went back and forth trying to reschedule a new day and time but many days / times I had didn’t suit him as he had other commitments. We eventually landed on a new date and time, and no show.. I call and message him 10 minutes past him appointment time and then he eventually tells me he’s had another family emergency and he won’t be coming. Desperate to have my garage fixed I try to reschedule with him again and he tells me the times I finish work for the rest of the week (3 and 4pm) are too late for him and this will incur additional fees for outside hours call outs…Even though he is the one who was unable to meet the agreed upon times let alone even bother to give me any notice that he’s not coming! Absolutely ridiculous. Do not both with this guy he is unbelievably unreliable and will cause way too much unnecessary stress. Find someone else.

Just had Joel come and do a job to replace a motor for us and he was early and extremely professional. He gave us the best price. We accepted his quote and the work was completed it no time. He is very knowledgeable at what he does we would extremely recommend Joel from J.B Garage Doors and Gates
