Khan's IGA Burgess
Store was tidy and well presented.Can tell everything had a mining tax on it as its all so expensive.Unfortunately at the deli I had to wait for the young girl to finish chatting with a friend before she'd serve me. Than at the front counter the fast lane was being used for a lady with a full trolly.I'd think twice before popping in ever again.

It’s the best IGA in town. Great location. And no, it’s not the only supermarket in town. Somewhere else in town there is another IGA. I’ve never seen it but people keep telling me it exists. Somewhere, but not anywhere we’re I’ve been. Yet. This IGA is easy to find and has a bottlo. It’s on the main drag across from that pub with the long verandah.

The IGA is still signed as Burgess IGA but in fact it’s owned by the Indians that own Khans across the road so there is now no competition. They should come clean and remove the very good name of Burgess who I understand we’re a very well respected business family in Cobar for many years.

Never any fresh fruit and vegetables everything over priced and bread is usually stale it's a bit hard when 2 supamarkets in same town owned by same company
