The Lorn Surgery @15 Belmore Rd

ELLY is lovely and takes the time to listen to you and not rush you out the door , she is a lovely person and doesn’t judge , she has been amazing through my cancer journey and is the best doctor I’ve ever been to , the lorn surgery is comfy and relaxing , the reception staff are friendly and helpful 10/10

Best surgery we've ever been to!

First of all this is about the tremendous Receptionist Renee who works for Dr David Burton at 21 Belmore Rd Lorn not the surgery at 15 Belmore Rd Lorn. Renee is very friendly, understanding quick on her feet and yes 5 stars. Now Dr David Burton well he is also 5 stars cant say much more other than he is the best at his profession.

Receptionists have no initiative, poor people skills, not disability friendly, especially if you need to organise support people to assist you in advance! I made an appointment and everything was fine, got a call saying it had to change and was only given one other choice of time which wasn’t suitable, after needing to prompt them she eventually said I could order my repeat script via the app and was told if there was an issue I would be called. I ordered my script online and got email confirmation that the request went through but heard nothing after that. Called them after not hearing from them and they hadn’t seemed to have processed the request and had to call me back after working out what was going on. They called me back and casually said I would need to book an appointment again. They offered me only one reschedule option again which I couldn’t make at that time of day for the same reason I said earlier. I asked if I could go anything later and apparently I can go somewhere else if I am not happy with the option. I reminded them of their responsibility to ensure I don’t run out of medication but other than agreeing with me, they weren’t willing to offer anything else but the receptionist said she didn’t know she is “just the receptionist”. I asked if I could have a phone consult but once again she didn’t know she is “just the receptionist”. I asked to speak to someone who could answer my questions since she kept telling me everything she couldn’t do as a receptionist, and then she told me all about the current medical emergency of a specific family member of the head of the surgery and when I said I didn’t need her to disclose personal medical details about a staff member as it was irrelevant and none of my business, she said it was okay because I didn’t know them...erm, she doesn’t know that and that isn’t the point, she breached confidentiality! Kind of hard to trust someone who doesn’t know professional boundaries and seems to think their customer service job doesn’t involve serving customers

Rude and patronizing receptionists. Just unbelievable how they treat their o patients. No compassion! The doctors themself are OK but the receptionists are arrogant and unfriendly.

Best doctors I've ever been to, been a patient for 3 years now and so glad for it. Can take a while to get an appointment but that goes to show they are well liked as always booked. I've seen a few doctors there if I can't get into see Tash (who is fantastic!) And couldn't fault any of them. My 3.5 year old has always gone there too since birth and always amazing service. Great reception staff also. Glad to be a patient here!

They're almost always running on time. Longest I've waited was about 5 minutes after the scheduled appointment. Natasha's great too.

Bad service. The receptionist have no respect for people privacy and needs.

Sadly there is no duty of care from Dr Toni Kesby, only a duty of profit. She should fully retire and stop lining her pockets with the money from people she fails to help.
