Terrible service.I purchased a brand new Volvo XC40 on 12/05/23, drive only 2 weeks (less than 300km) and the car was having issue with the transmission (turtle sign showed and engine light on) effecting the drivability. Car towed to Volvo Gold Coast on 21/05, and now it’s been there for 2 weeks. Called service team multiple times, but they can’t provide me any update, I doubt it’s a major fault and 2 weeks past they are still diagnosing the issue. Also called Volvo Australia but won’t be much help. I’m sick of this endless waiting and reported it to Fair trading. As a pregnant mum with other little one, I’m lose confidence in this big brand, as I paid big money in return for this kinds of service.

Terrible service.Walked into the showroom and was told someone will be with us in a couple of minutesWaited 15mins and no one even spoke to us.Update:Went to Mercedes Benz at Robina. Their service was next level. Highly recommend.Purchased a car that afternoon from them.

Excellent customer service. Unlike Audi dealership, we were greeted by the sales staff and felt very welcomed in the show room. They took the time to show us the different models and even offered to take us for a test drive. Very impressed with the customer service and definitely considering switching from Audi to Volvo.

Jon was an absolute pleasure to deal with when we purchased our car recently. His deep level of knowledge was shared openly and with integrity and left us feeling very confident about the purchase. Buying my car from Jon at Volvo Cars Gold Coast was the best car purchasing experience I’ve ever had. From the first walk in through to vehicle delivery, Jon has been attentive, caring, helpful & a down to earth great sales guy. He helped me spec my car perfectly suited to my needs & taste. We built it up on the computer, sight unseen. After a few months waiting & regular updates of the progress along the way, it finally arrived & the car is even better in real life than I expected it. Jon took the time to go through every detail at handover, absolutely thorough & best handover I’ve ever had, even at the end of month amongst his busiest time. We experienced really poor and unsatisfactory service at Volvo Gold Coast service department. This poor experience was contributed to limited communication on progress of our vehicle, very difficult to gain a response with service department with phone calls not being answered, some rude and arrogant staff with unhelpful attitude, lack of process and quality control on works completed and left the inside of the vehicle dirty and stained as well as overall lack of genuine care in wanting to help us. This is not the customer experience we were sold when we spoke to many dealerships before purchasing our new Volvo, and not what is stated on the Volvo website on what we should expect. My wife and I have been very disappointed and as mentioned it is not just 1 thing, it is many things, and it was the whole experience from start to finish from the service department. A customer centric culture is something that comes from the leadership down and it was very evident to my wife and I that customer experience and satisfaction is not important at this dealership, and so I am unsure if this lack of customer centric culture is specific to this dealership or is this the customer experience, we can expect from the Volvo brand itself. I am more than willing to share my experience with someone from Volvo with specific details and eager for Volvo to share with us on how and what they are going to do to improve the service and most importantly, restore our broken trust with the Volvo brand which has been severely damaged from our first ever experience with Volvo since we purchased the vehicle. I am not one to normally complain, however when someone spends over $100k on a car from a what I thought was a premium brand, you do expect more than what we experienced.

Little disappointed but maybe I could not expect them to jump out of there air conditioned building to greet me as a potential buyer but maybe I should have made more effort and gone inside . but probably be looked at me and thought I was not going to buy an expensive car but at the end of the day they probably did me a favour as I'm buying a Tesla
