The Red Boat cruise was an amazing experience. Loved the opportunity to see white breasted sea eagles diving for fish. The walk through the forest led by owner Boris was extremely informative and the bbq lunch served in the bush camp, delicious. The wine bar was a wonderful added extra, as was the entertainment provided by Boris and his ukulele on the way back down river. Highly recommend this family operated cruise!!!

A gorgeous day out on the river . The family are passionate about the area and are very informative. Great BBQ lunch. Heaps of food. You can even go back for seconds, but one serve was definitely enough. Morning tea was served as soon as you board and on the way back you get to have Suellen's fantastic home baked fruitcake. Boris's commentary both on the boat and during the rainforest walk was very interesting and educational. He even gives a surprise entertainment act! Emma, his daughter is very helpful and has some interesting stories about past locals of her own to share.Definitely worth doing!

This is a fantastic cruise. We were on the MV George Robinson. The rivers are beautiful. Going through pristine forests, with no development or other man made impacts. The family running the cruise were so friendly and informative. They shared knowledge and took time with everyone. Lunch was delicious with plenty of good food.Important for us, it is kid friendly. They even let the boys steer the ship for a bit.It is an affordable experience and if it is the scenery that you are there for this is a great option. The crew really enjoy their work and it shows in the way they make you feel.Best experience so far on the trip.

Pleasant cruise into Arthur River. Great morning tea and Cape Grim steak lunch. Would’ve been 5/5 if the nature guide was more knowledgeable and showed us around the magnificent temperate rainforests more (walked a dozen steps past the bbq area for our ‘nature walk’). He did say he didn’t normally lead this tour and the path has been damaged by the floods.

A spectacular day on the Arthur River with Arthur River Cruises. The cruise was on the Reflections Deluxe Cruise boat with ~17 pax. The crew of 3 were Emma, Kaitlynn and Boris who were such awesome hosts for the day.The cruise is ~ 14kms along Arthur River and beyond to the Frankland river junction. Then it's on to Warra Landing for an amazing lunch, which comprised a gourmet BBQ including Cape Grim prime scotch fillet (expertly cooked by Kaitlynn), award winning lamb sausage, jacket potato, home made salads, fresh bread roll, wines, juice.Boris led us on a trek through the rainforest while lunch was being prepared and provided great insights as to the workings of the rainforests and pointing out the different types of trees such as world renowned Tasmanian Blackwood.Another highlight was viewing the nest of the White-bellied Sea eagles high above the ground. The nest measures 2m x 2m and is rebuilt every year, with sea eagles being particularly fussy about the types of leaves / foliage, opting for one's that have medicinal benefits / minimise disease.Overall, a fantastic experience and very good value.
