The location is unique, providing an amazing view. It has a good vibe overall.The food was average for the price and the service was ok. The overall value brought down my ratings.The sliders had nice flavour and the mini toasted brioche gave it a nice texture.The John Dory had great crispy skin.The pasta was also good. Unfortunately, the food was good but not great.

This restaurant was such a memorable day for me. I came here with one of my best friend and his partner the restaurant is in-front of Elwood beach. The food was nice. The oyster where very salty not sure if they added salty water to them. The prawn sliders where to die for. So yummy. The ceviche was super fresh and well balanced with flavours. The highly of me was my main. Crispy skin barramundi it had butter fennel and capers it was mind blowing I also ordered a side of greens!My friend enjoyed fish and chips and his partner had the someKind of bird wasn’t sure if it was quail or chicken but he enjoyed it a lot. The price was above average.

We returned in a dining party of 4 which seems to fare better with prime seating. You simply cannot beat this location and we have been extremely lucky to experience two spectacular sunset eveningsOriginal reviewWe had dinner at Elwood Bathers last night essentially a place I’d chosen for the ability to see the stunning sunset. I did request a window table for this viewing pleasure but it was not accommodated, though we were close. I suppose this was due to the fact there were limited two seater tables in these locations though when we politely enquired we were rudely rebuffed. This staff member seems to have been an outlier though as everyone else we dealt with was relatively friendly.On to the decor I really enjoyed the interior which had a beachy yet elegant feel to it. Complimentary bread arrived as I sipped my pimms (which was quite heavy on the ginger ale). I chose the lamb for main which for $38 was a little fatty. I didn’t particularly enjoy the unpleasant raw onion pieces in the eggplant relish either.What was unparalleled however was the epic vantage point to witness the truly spectacular sunset as we indulged in the utterly delicious lemon soufflé tart which was a masterstroke in pastry ingenuity. Even for the atmosphere alone I thoroughly recommend a visit to this sophisticated beachfront paradise and definitely don’t skip dessert

We had a wonderful lunch experience at Elwood Bathers last Sunday 4/12.By 1230pm the venue was completely full, it was a bright (hot) sunny day and it was obviously the place to be!Our table of 10 were celebrating an anniversary, our staff and the management team went over and above to ensure the meal and experience was terrific.Drinks and drink service was top notch, the margaritas were sensational, lots of alcohol free options as well and a great wine list.Our food was all perfect as well with each plate completely empty. The highlights were the fish, deluxe beef burgers and the 4 children absolutely loved their kids meals which were very generous serves for $13!Overall it was a great 5/5 experience, a lovely view and if you have a large table the back inside was a terrific spot to see the ocean.

The food is not bad but considering the high prices it isn’t impressive either. $33 burgers are average and the $44 tuna lacks in flavour. Also very loud even when not full so hard to have a chat. Recommended for the nice staff and views.

Beautiful view, we tried to book Three weeks in advance for window beach view. But the staff didn’t end up giving us the view. Pasta and salmon was great, but their meat dishes were very average. Service wasn’t that good.

What a wonderful spot. The experience was as exceptional as the view. The staff were attentive and extremely nice. The service was prompt and efficient. The seafood is fresh and delicate and was served perfectly. We sat on cocktails for most of the day which were perfectly made and reasonably priced. This was an awesome dining experience. We love it here

Ryan was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and prevented me from ordering rosé instead of red wine. Ooops! Gerry was also a pleasure! Telling us all about Reposado tequila! If we were from Australia, we would totally revisit! Thank you for having us and our baby!

We had a ‘Christmas in June’ family lunch yesterday — which coincided with a 50th birthday (one of my sons). The staff were very professional and helpful, nothing was any trouble and the food was of high quality. It was a set menu for a group booking (16) but varied and very tasty. Everybody had a really enjoyable time and went home more than satisfied. I would definitely recommend the venue and we will return.

Just came here for drinks on a chilled Sunday afternoon while in the middle of walking along the beach, very nice and convenient location. Excellent views if you can grab a table outside overlooking the beach. The beers and food in general are a little bit on the exxie side but I guess your paying for the location. Nice clean facilities and the online menu is easy to use.
